Sehr gutes Essen und freundliche Bedienung. Keine langen Wartezeiten. Warmes Besteck im Korb. Sensationell gut und bei kühlen Temperaturen eine echt gute Idee. Allerdings war um 13 Uhr das Ristaurante noch nicht fertig. Es wurde noch gekehrt. In der Damentoilette war vom Abend zuvor noch nicht sauber gemacht. Der Mülleimer voller Papiertücher. Der FuÃboden schmutzig ( ich habe den Test gemacht). Ein Espresso der keiner war. Ich habe ihn nicht getrunken. Nur probiert. Aber das was mich dann doch schmunzeln lieÃ, nein, man kann kann nur bar bezahlen. Ein Schelm, der böses denkt.

Also gleich vorneweg .... so eine leckere Pizza habe ich lange nicht mehr gegessen. Der Teig knusprig und nicht dick, der Belag frisch und ordentlich belegt. Wo lriegt man noch eine so leckere Pizz unter â¬10. Das Ambiente ist ganz ok, Sitzplätze für ca. 30 Personen. Der Service ist sehr gut, freundlich und fragt mehrfach ob es auch schmeckt. Bei einem Trinkgeld gab es auch noch einen Espresso auf Kosten des Hauses ... aber mal ehrlich, wo kriegt man heute einen (und dann auch noch sehr leckeren) Espresso für â¬1 auf der Speisekarte. Fazit ... ich komme gerne wieder.

What is an Italian restaurant without Italian beer ? The Italian insalada di pomodori (tomato salad) was made like a greek salad with Feta cheese and chopped leek (who had been chopped some days ago) The Pizza Caprese was ordinary. Vital tonato was okay. Poor service. The only plus was that we were sitting outside and that there were smoker and none smoker areas - unfortunately were we not told by the waiter, so we, as none smoker, sat in smoking area, because all seat were taken in the none smoking area.

With many cafes and restaurants in Eisenach's city centre being owned by the same families and offering the same menus and, at times, meh service, this cafe/bistro/restaurant offers a refreshing alternative with authentically Italian food and drinks, a warm and welcoming team, quirky and cosy interior design and an open-minded attitude towards non-Germans! Try the daily specials from the board and a slice of those marvellous tarts - Amazing!

In an early-to-bed town, it was nice to encounter a lively, sometimes noisy outdoor Italian Trattoria that served a full menu until 10:00. The choice of food and wine was broad, and the waiter was happy to help. It was an overall fun experience I'd be happy to repeat.

The service was excellent to start with but ended badly when we were left at the table without drinks, without being asked about dessert, dishes cleared for 20 minutes. The main dishes were well prepared and the standard Italian cooking. No surprises nor inventiveness. Fish and meat both done very well. Very quiet interior with white tablecloths. Mostly older clientele.
