Three of us meet up once a year and we chose this place. Ambience was good waitress very helpful and friendly and great service. The food was not great the period chicken was dry and tough and advertised as breastfeeding bust was definitely thigh. The burgers were good but to serve with just 3 strips of gherkin was inadequate and the jug of chips were like a day old refried. Just as well it was more about us all meeting up, would we go back, sorry but no.

Happened to come across this place totally by chance - GPS rerouted us through Epping so stopped off for dinner there. Really lovely little place, with a nice atmosphere. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff are very friendly. Would definitely travel back to Epping just to eat here again!!

Came with my friend who loves it and I can honestly say food was fabulous, my friend had a pizza and I had the Verde risotto , all tasted fresh and was thoroughly enjoyable . The lady serving was pleasant and overall I was very impressed will definitely be back

We took my Mum to the Kings Head for lunch as our son was over visiting from abroad. We hadn't booked but arrived around 12:30pm and luckily there was availability for a table. The staff were all very friendly, there was a specials menu and the normal everyday menu with a good choice of food. Three of us had the soup and one had the scotch egg for starters, then we chose the gnocchi, chicken caesar salad and fish and chips for our mains. The food was absolutely delicious, couldn't fault it at all. There was a nice atmosphere in the restaurant and what with the excellent service and good food we spent a very nice couple of hours in there. The restaurant started to fill up and was fairly busy for a Wednesday lunchtime, which shows it is popular. We visited on a Saturday night with family and the restaurant was very busy. This didnât stop the staff being very friendly efficient and courteous. When our meals came out, they were tasty, freshly made and piping hot. Food prices are fair, only sore point is that the Peroni is pretty expensively over £6 a bottle. Heading back there tonight again with a group of friends and looking forward to it, so will stick to just buying the one beer!

We decided to try this restaurant for dinner - what a disappointment! My partner order the garlic prawns to start which were swimming in insipid murky water and looks very unappealing! He ordered Spaghetti Carbonara for main which were in a thick white sauce which looked like mayonnaise. I ordered the chicken breast in breadcrumbs with spaghetti (how bad could it be right??), the spaghetti tasted like it was out of a tin and the chicken in breadcrumbs was bright orange and, well, basically, it just looked cheap! We asked the waiter if it would be cheaper to buy the bottle if ordering 2 large glasses of wine, to which he replied "I won't advise on that, I'm in it to make money and won't advise on saving you money" - charming! To add insult to injury it was all over priced considering it was blatantly obvious that they were using the cheapest produce around! So, we definitely won't be going back :-(Dear Mrs J_M_H_PEssexSorry to read such a negative comment??How on earth freshly prepared king prawns cooked in white wine NOT WATER, LOOK MURKY and insipid by the way the condiment is on every table for customer to use it.Spaghetti Carbonara the most popular dish on the menu look like mayonnaise?? my brilliant Chef cooks with heart and passion. Pollo Milanese with freshly cooked spaghetti in tomato sauce (NOT OUT OF TIN, I presume you know the difference by being an expert) by the way we do not buy cheap ingredients, will be quiet happy to show the bill .the wine I am not convinced that my staff would not sell you a bottle rather than by the glass, I'take this with a pinch of salt.Menu overpriced, do you go shopping??so you know the prices + don't forget 20% is VAT included.Gentilissima Signora you made yourself very popular with some restaurant especially on your first( and may be) last visit, I have read your posts you love your one star rating.We are a very popular restaurant and pride ourselves in everything we do, buy fresh produce cooked as and when ordered, nothing is pre-cooked, after-all 90% of positive posts on TripAdvisor confirm it, I admit we have to improve may be another 10% but, hey you cannot please everyone it's fact of life and I would like to thank you for the feed back and bringing to my attention.
