I got food poisoned with their plate "lomo de atún" I even went to the ER for 5 hours they tried to control my heart race and allergy because of poisoned tuna. I felt like I was going to die. It started bad when the waiter did not want to repeat something he said before to someone sitting in the table. And it finished with him asking us not to go without paying the check even thought the emergency. Of course they charged for the poisoned plate. Don't try to go to their bathrooms! Disgusting... Even tried to get some response by letting to know them my experience in twitter but of course they didn't answer.

This site has a mix of modernism, art and warmth. The atmosphere is quiet to go for a glass of wine, a pizza, a salad or something more exotic. Everything is ripe to go with different groups: friends, work colleagues, family or couples. The pizzas are thin and crispy, with fresh tomatoes. The salads are delicious too, especially one that brings strawberries. The light is graduated for the moment something cozy and the decor is eclectic and unwinding guessing where they are certain elements: if they come from Mexico, India or Morocco.

I am surprised that I am the first one to write about this place as it is really awsome. By walking from the hotel to the beach we stopped by last Sunday. Macao has a nice deck directly on the beach with great views through the palm trees over the ocean. We ordered the Pasta Marinera, my wife had a Pizza with all kind of fresh vegetables and peperono (don't remember the name) and my sister had a red snapper. The pasta was al dente and the recomendation from the friendly waiter to have it "white" (butter only, no napole) was just perfect ! I tried a slice of pizza and it was one of the best I ever had. The red snapper was fresh and served with rice and vegetables. And the very best of all: including a bottle on wine, I paid 25 US$ ! A really nice place with great food and good service !

For lunch or dinner is a fantastic choice to eat a good steak or a complete barbecue. The service is excellent and on weekend nights they have live music so is good to go and have some drinks with friends. Very nice restaurant.

Located at the beachfront of Playa el Agua, Restaurant Marlin features a roof-covered dining room but is in essence an outdoor restaurant with open windows to let in the ocean breeze. Like the majority of restaurants on the Playa El Agua strip, it has a fairly broad seafood menu⦠My friend and I were craving lobster so we decided to split a lobster in creole sauce, and also tried a fish fillet in garlic sauce. The lobster was huge and absolutely spectacular; it was served cut in half, with the lobster tail meat placed into the shell and covered in a sauce of fresh tomatoes, onions, carrots, and spicy peppers â it was a perfect blend of tang and sweetness. It was also impressive that the sauce had fresh ingredients, versus a puree, thereby allowing the creole jus to complement rather than dominate the natural flavor of the fresh lobster. There were a number of other lobster sauces to choose from and our server was patient at explaining the options to us. However, I would undoubtedly recommend the creole sauce. The fish fillet (most likely a grouper) was moist and tasty, excellent but not remarkable. It was grilled in butter with parsley â simple but flavorful. Unfortunately, we had had Baileyâs with Efe vanilla ice cream in the late afternoon (a dreamy concoction), so we did not have room to try any dessert. That said, Marlin is definitely a good spot to enjoy some fine food in addition to El Pacifico on Playa el Agua....but still an experience a notch below fine dining establishments in Pampatar such as Catabar and Casa Caranta.

We had to wait for a few minutes because the restaurant was full, but it went fast because they decided to open another dining space since we were three groups waiting. The service was good and fast and the food tasty. They had fish, meet, chicken, rice, the price was adequate. We left satisfied and would recommend it.

We actually stayed in the hotel attached to the restaurant. The restaurant was to a high international standard with excellent quality food cooked in creative ways. The chef seems very aware of different textures needed for a good meal. The menu had lighter options and a fair range of dishes. The wines are excellent - particularly the reds and at very fair prices. One day we took a passion fruit and a mango in and asked the chef to 'do something' with them. He outdid himself with a wonderful fruit creation that he made in just 10 minutes! The atmosphere is relaxed but highly professional. We tried other places on the island but nothing matched.
