Many mountain restaurants can be a little disappointing, sloppily serving fast food to hungry winter sports enthusiasts. The Gipfelhaus is the exception to this rule. It is a la carte, and the selection is fairly limited but every dish is well prepared, well presented and very tasty. For a truly exceptional lunch, eat on the terrace in the sun and enjoy the stupendous view from 2000m atop the Kitzbuheller Horn. It's what memories are made of.

Neuwirt is a hotel in the city center of Kiztbuhel and has a cozy restaurant attached. The menu mainly had different Austrian dishes, but also some of the surrounding countries (like Hungarian Goulash). Food quality is excellent, although the creamy spinach was more of a soup than vegetables.Staff is very professional and price/quality was good

Nice place with seating outside but they should consider self service options. The two lads behind the bar & tending the front clearly have other careers as bar serving is not their first choice. Asking 3 times for a drink is not on with the strong competition in Kitzbuehl. Recomendations to Owner: Train the lads to take more than one order and not to clean tables when customers have no drinks. Otherwise release then back into the wild. Back from a journey into the wild to gather more staff. We get very busy most nights, so waiting times may happen.Luckily there is competition- so you have a wide variety of choices of other places where you might find yourself better looked after. We'd be happy to see you back anyway- I'm the manager and I'll gladly buy you a few tequilas for your inconvenience. You're on a holiday- relax!Hakuna Matata Adela

In addition to what I mentioned previously about Arosa Kitzbuhel Hotel. I have to admit that the Food&Beverage Manager did a great job on the restaurant and bar, well done Roland! The staff in the restaurant and bar were very nice and patient. The sommelier did make some really interesting suggestions on wine pairing and thanks to them I have tried some superb Austrian red wine. Overall, I experienced a real five star service in the restaurant and bar, but need to improve on housekeeping and reception.

Great location overlooking the lake and subsequently very popular. You can sit outside on the terrace or indoors. We visited twice and sat outdoors and had to wait quite a while to get served, although I'm sure they were very busy. The second time we visited they did not have any milk. During our first visit, in order to save time, I went inside to pay at the bar with no problem but on our second visit I was told to wait outside for the waiter who I had to locate to make payment. Card payments only accepted in excess of EUR20.

The restaurant "Kupferstube" in the Hotel Tennerhof ranks for decades among the best restaurants of the country. The outstanding creations of our kitchen boss and its team connect the natural taste of the best of the region with creative characteristics.
When I booked the hotel and even when we arrived I wasn't aware that they have Austria's chef of the year 2015!!!Wow were we surprised! Little irritating was that the menu had no prices. ..clearly an indication that we will have an expensive dinner.Nevertheless, food was exceptional and defineteley in the "star" area. Service was competent and friendly we had a great time and would recommend to visit this restaurant. Dear Helge, Thank you so much for your feedback of our Gourmet Restaurant Kupferstube at the Tennerhof Gourmet & Spa de Charme Hotel. We are delighted that you took the time to review our hotel and restaurant in such a positive manner. Your opinion is also encouraging to the whole staff, who will be very pleased that their hard work is positively recognized. We are looking forward to welcome you again at the Tennerhof Gourmet & Spa de Charme Hotel on your next visit to TirolWith kind regards Familie Luigi von Pasquali with General Manager Martin Taumberger and the Tennerhof Team
