Reviews on International food in Arica, Arica and Parinacota Region, Chile. Arica (/əˈriːkə/ ə-REE-kə; Spanish: [aˈɾika]) is a commune and a port city with a population of 196,590 in the Arica Province of northern Chile's Arica y Parinacota Region. It is Chile's northernmost city, being located only 18 km (11 mi) south of the border with Peru. The city is the capital of both the Arica Province and the Arica and Parinacota Region. Arica has a mild, temperate climate with some of the lowest annual rainfall rates anywhere in the world, consequently there are rarely any clouds over Arica. Arica is located at the bend of South America's western coast known as the Arica Bend or Arica Elbow. At the location of the city are two lush valleys that dissect the Atacama Desert converge: Azapa and Lluta. These valleys provide fruit for export.

It is characterized by his exquisite and varied international gastronomy tinted with the typical flavors of the region, mixing the excellence of the raw materials of Azapa's Valley and products of the Mar. You will be able to enjoy a great variety of trop
Me encantó su carta de comida, donde se nota la influencia de la gastronomia peruana, los platos son bastante grandes y van en relación con el precio.

This is really a nice restaurant in the Azapa Valley with plenty of space. Children can enjoy the installations. The food is very good and the service is even better. Nice drinks and desserts. Free tea or herbal tea. It has a pool for the summer and you can stay all afternoon there,It is ideal for celebrations with large groups.

We were surprised that there were not more restaurants along the waterfront. We had a nice but very average lunch on a long terrace here overlooking the ocean and then moved inside to work online for an hour or so. The staff were friendly and efficient. The food was good but nothing more. The beer was crisp and cold. We were neither overwhelmed nor disappointed. Recommended,.

The whole experience was terrible. Firstly, nobody told us what the buffet would cost. We had to ask. Secondly, the various items that are part of the buffet don't have any tags so you have no idea what you are piling onto your plate. Thirdly, the buffet has no taste at all. Fourthly, the buffet gas been put together of the cheapest ingredients possible. Fifthly, none of it is warm. Sixthly, for Arica it's quite expensive. The staff is uninterested and could only be pursuaded to hand over the book of complaints after insistence. According to Chilezn law, any business MUST hand over the book of complaints immediately upon request. All in all, awfull for the price. Theft, in fact. You eat better in Arica for 25% of that price. And I should know. I live here.

Located in Chinchorro beach, Mojito welcomes you with a variety of options of food to enjoy as a pub, with a fine set of international drinks including more than 10 kinds of mojitos. The best of a restaurant and the best of a pub. Dining room (non smokers
The position of the restaurant is superb, decor lovely great for watching sunsets. We ordered ceviche and a crab (jaiba) dish. The crab was awful full of cream milk or cheese. Worst crab dish in chile. The ceviche was also the worst, fish soft and slushy. We ordered the seafood platter at the recommendation of our waiter. Before it arrived a plate or empanadas showed up. We said it was not ours. They said it was part of our meal. We thought this strange. Food arrived . Mostly ceviche, awful slop of white fish they said was salmon. Prawns were ok. Three dishes of mussels swimming in white sauce with skin on top. 6 children's fish fingers in different shapes. We ate the empanadas and a few prawns. Tried the mussels and white mess. Left most of the 15,000 pesos dish. Asked for bill. Empanadas were on it. We said we did not order them. The waiter got rude and said we ate them. We said we ate them because the other food was inedable. They got really rude. I refused to pay for them. After a long discussion took them off the bill. Then added 10% tip!!!!!!Not recommended . Maybe just for a sandwich.

We were treated to a Peruvian-influenced meal perfectly prepared and carmenere that was one of the best Chilean wines weâve ever had. We shared the ceviche sampler appetizer. My husband had a corvina stuffed with seafood and quinoa and I had the grilled octopus with sautéed vegetables. Both delicious. Service was attentive and helpful.
