After reading the other reviews, I decided to give Taste of Punjab a try. I had to go back and re-read the reviews because I'm having a difficult time believing this was the same place described by other diners. Has management changed? The restaurant entrance was a mess of free magazines. There was trash on the dining room floor and cashier's booth. Absolutely no ambiance - dark (and not in a romantic way), no music. No diners either. Service was lacking. I walked in and said hello, and the man turned around and walked into the kitchen without saying a word! That should have been my sign to leave. The food itself was bland. I ordered "mild" dishes that were flavorless. The chicken tikka masala had no cream sauce - it was basically canned tomatoes, chicken, and onion thrown together and warmed up. No way was the naan bread baked on site in a tandoor oven. Very disappointed. Will not return.

My husband and I have been going to Flavors of India for about 3 or 4 months and it's my absolute favorite restaurant in the entire valley. I absolutely crave the Chicken Korma and the Chicken Masala. It's the best Indian food I've ever had. I crave Indian food all because this restaurant but nowhere can measure up to the Flavors of India. On top of having great food they also have excellent customer service. The only thing negative about Flavors of India is that my husband says I can only go once a week.

Eating at Bombay House is about much more than just food. It is a complete cultural submersion for all five of your senses. The rich aroma of exotic spices; the rhythms and songs of an ancient culture; warm, intimate lighting; vibrant murals portraying sc
Bombay is a classic! If you like the American "norm" of Indian food the Chicken Tikki Masala and buttered chicken is a common favorite. Along with other authentic dish choices. I also took my dad here when he said he hates Indian food and enjoyed it! I also like how you can choose the level of spicey, most of the time I find Indian Restaurants not spicey enough ! For those who don't like it spicey and for those who can't find spicey enough like me you can get that here. I also love there mango lassis :)!

Karma has delicious, authentic Indian cuisine. The decor is fabulous, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I love that they serve gluten-free naan! Most of the menu is vegan, and many items are gluten-free. My favorites are the pakoras, the Bombay fries, channa masala and the naan, gluten-free, of course! My 13 y/o loved the tandoori chicken strips, coated in a pakora batter - and she is not a fan of Indian food! I only wish they were open for LUNCH!!

On Monday, May 22, 2017, I decided to drop by the Everest Curry Kitchen to try their buffet for lunch.Parking can be a little tricky in that small parking lot that serves the greater area surrounding the restaurant. I did manage to find an empty spot near their front door, though.I noticed when I walked in the door that their buffet did seem small. Even so, I found that they packed a lot of taste into those few selections. The waitress seemed a bit shy, but willing to accommodate. She first indicated a table, but I let her know I preferred a booth, so she immediately ushered me to a booth on the side, where I had a decent view of the other tables and the buffet on the other side of the partition.I filled one plate to overflowing with their curries and rice, along with a piece of papadam, crispy lentil wafer, and naan, a soft flatbread. I went back for seconds and filled another plate with rice topped with helpings of their curries. The waitress came around often with offers of more water and concerns about my having everything I needed, which I did.I canât tell you which selections I enjoyed more than others. I can say only that I enjoyed them all. They were full of flavor and even the spicy one was mild for my taste mixed with the rice. The shields over the food have labels that tell whatâs in the bins. When you find yourself with an appetite for curries, donât deprive yourself of the enjoyment you can get with the lunch buffet at Everest Curry Kitchen. Itâs a giant step above a burger and fries you might get for a similar price elsewhere in the neighborhood.

We went here with my sister and her fam. Very good food, nice quiet restaurant, good service. Great mango Lassis! I had the coconut korma and it was delish. The naan was, too. My family lives inside food and we enjoyed this place.

Our friends brought us here. It's their favorite for Indian food. For dinner, it's a sit-down and be-waited-on place. The waitresses were all very friendly and helpful. Ours suggested that we all stick with their medium level of spice, because hot is very hot. We were all very happy with that. Mine was delicious pineapple chicken, with potatoes and chunks of pineapple in a yellowish cream /sauce. My husband got the curry chicken which was more brown, a bit spicier than mine. It was awesome too! Our friends both got the masala chicken, which has a reddish sauce which was had some zing to it also. They bring them to the table in the little serving dishes, so we could all try a sample of each other's. And the naan (flatbread) was very cheesy and good. I would definitely recommend this place.

Went here last week with good friends. My wife and I split the chili cheese naan. Excellent flavor. My wife had the coconut shrimp curry and I had the fennel, black pepper and cumin shrimp curry. Both were excellent. This was my first time here and I'll definitely go back again.

I was visiting in Sandy Ut and went to Royal India with a friend, I would never have given Indian food a consideration if I was dinning alone (as I usual do) and only went there because my friend likes India food. Boy what a surprise the food and atmosphere was wonderful. Years ago while in the Navy I got sick on curry so I expected a less then pleasant experience. Man were my expeditions confounded the food was excellent and not to spicy (the wait staff asked about the amount of spice desired). I had the Shrimp Valado (sp) and onion bread soooo good. Its a very friendly place the the wait staff seem to truly care about your experience.
