UPS!!! Big thumbs down for me. Having explained I am celiac before booking the table, so no wheat and gluten and, asked for the waiter to recommend dishes on the menu for me when ordering......two dishes were whipped away in quick succession on arrival at the table by other waiters who had overheard my earlier conversations and considered what had arrived had wheat in....found out there was very little to choose from in the end.Very disappointed.

Enjoy delicious Indian cuisine at Bath's Premier Indian restaurant and order takeout online.
When we first visited the quality of the meat was excellent but in May the chicken "breast" was greasy and chewy. This is more expensive than our previous restaurant and the ambience not as nice. Two of the puddings, from a limited list were unavailable. The real downside is the parking arrangements; I have been twice in a group of 10 and despite following the parking arrangements both times a member of our group has received a fine from parking eye of £60 rising to £100. You then have to appeal in writing with proof e.g. receipt for food. They only cancel as a gesture of goodwill telling you to follow parking regulations which we did. Make sure if you go there you keep a receipt and if contactless request your receipt as you may need it.

Lovely Lamb Naga and brilliant that you can bring your own wine. Brilliant service. There were lots of families with children here when we visited, they had high hairs too.

Used this restaurant for our default Indian takeaway for a while now. Visiting the restaurant for the first time was a whole new experience. EXTREMELY friendly staff who were more than happy to offer advice and even change parts of the dish. Would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant to anyone in this general area. Thank you so much for a truly wonderful meal.

Our downstairs restaurant seats up to 30 overs, in a modern, contemporary space. Upstairs at Haque's is our new Private Dining area seating up to 20 - this is perfect for parties, business meeetings and quieter dining. We are now open Lunchtimes, from 12-2
My wife and I have eaten here a couple of times now. I thought I'd best give it another try after an earlier disappointment before posting a review. As Indian food goes, Haques is very disappointing and greasy. I doubt we'll be eating there again.

Award winning family run Indian cuisine since 1987. With free local home delivery on orders over £25 and 10% discount on collected orders over £15.
Open on Boxing day evening, so was able to pick something up on our way back from the lights at Longleat. Quick service, generous portions and very tasty! No complaints at all and had a very nice chat with the owner to boot.

My husband and I discovered this restaurant only recently and were very impressed with it. The ambience inside is lovely including a living garden feature by a local supplier and the staff are very friendly and efficient. The food though is amazing - everything is freshly cooked with quality ingredients which is very noticeable. Weâve been back since and would definitely recommend it.

My husband and I decided to visit The Bengal Bear following recommendations by friends. We were warmly greeted by staff and our order was very promptly served. My husband chose the Tandoori Mixed Grill Balti with a Keema Nan which he said was delicious. I chose the Bengal Bear Special Balti which was lovely. Portions were huge.A very pleasant meal and thoroughly recommended.

Welcome to Mantra an Indian Restaurant in the heart of Bath, that specialises in serving progressive Indian food. Our dishes are healthily packed with flavour, crunch, punch and zing offering plenty of choice to vegetarians and vegans. Inspired by seasona
Who briefly complained about the walk.....until we had the most superb welcome having booked for two. We are seasoned curry eaters BUT this was superb. For the first time in 40 years of curry eating I took advice- great decision! As we chatted about food it lead to a free Dhosa to try- excellent! Both our different lamb dishes were lovely. The aubergine cooked in halves was superb as was the nan. Rice great and even given advice on how it would all be eaten in Southern India. Fabulous building and although quiet, good atmosphere and great service. This team deserve every success! We wish they were in North Norfolk. 2 nights left, canât go tomorrow, perhaps Thursday!!!Thank you all. Thank you very much Steve for your feedback. Thanks for giving us 5 stars.I am glad you liked our food and service. We look forward to seeing you soon.Kind Regards,Mantra
