Reviewed By Road12972912134We stayed in a ground floor room with a swim-up feature. This is in the adults only section, which features a private pool, bar and restaurant. Nice and quiet: no loud music. The beach is a stones throw away, and all rooms have a sea view. The snorkelling from the beach is fantastic: angel fish, pipefish and various others within easy swimable reach of the shore. Other water sports are onsite including SUP, kayaking, pedalos and sailing. There’s a dive centre on site (Dive World), and the staff there are friendly and knowledgable. There are four restaurants on site. Biggest choice at Le Superbe buffet, but for romantic dinners we preferred La Casa. We went half board, so lunch and drinks not included. This means that water is also not included at dinner, and we were charged for table water - so just beware. It’s a small criticism. There are hawkers on the beach: this is licensed by Mauritius law, and isn’t a problem. They are not pushy and can be quite friendly. There are also unofficial excursion providers touting their offers: again this is not annoying, but do your research before engaging them in conversation/negotiation. The staff are all (and I mean all) super polite and helpful and really made us feel welcome. Nothing seemed too much trouble and they are all a credit to the hotel.

We are located in the north-western coast of Mauritius, at Pointe aux Piments, 13 kms away from the capital city, Port Louis. Pointe aux Piments, being a typical fisherman’s village, offers peace and serenity. It is the perfect address for a holiday escapade and to connect. It has a three Star rating from May 2018.

Reviewed By DarshwanaMSunset Reef welcomed my friends and I for one night and allowed us to have access to a conference room linked to our bedroom for a small party. The room in itself was very conveniently placed and the view amazing. The staff was available at all times and the food was enjoyable as well. The music was very well chosen and my guests were really pleased! Would come again.

In the middle of a tropical garden, La Margarita is a charming 18 rooms hotel, quiet and very welcoming. Just 200 meters from the beach of Pointe aux Piments in the North of the Island, it is ideally positioned midway between Grand Baie and Port Louis. The hotel offers an outdoor pool, a cocktail bar and a restaurant. The hotel has double and triple rooms too. Each level has got a different identity, with their thematic decoration. Each room is equipped with bathroom, shower, air-conditioning, cable TV, a safebox and a desk with telephone and free WiFi. Hotel can welcome you 24/7. At the reception a concierge service can help you for any query, information or guidance you may need (visits, local trips, taxi, postcards, foreign exchange, luggage storage, dry cleaning...) "Le Piment Vert" is the restaurant of the hotel , where you will be served breakfast, as well as the local and fine cuisine prepared by the Chef. At La Margarita, you can enjoy the swimming pool and its deckchairs, the bar located in a tropical garden, where you can relax with tropical fruits cocktails and/or spririts, or play snooker.
Very incorrectly advertised
Reviewed By A3211UBssI booked into this resort for 5 nights starting on the 1/1/2020. On arrival , we found the place nothing as in photos. Rooms were smelly musty, old dirty looking linen on beds, not hot water from taps. Dinner served was pathetic and does not cater for little kids. Aircon in rooms does not work and is broken. Manager was very unhelpful and he was rude. was force to find alternative accommodation the first night I got there and at my cost. I will never /or recommend that place to anyone else.

We had a very busy start to our trip so we were looking forward to relaxing when we got to Mauritius and Veranda Pointe Aux Biches did not disappoint! The staff were all so helpful and welcoming. The food was delicious, as were the cocktails and wine. Our beach dinner was so special and the meal at Sandy Lane Grill on our final night was a highlight. Our room was beautiful with a stunning view of the beach and ocean!

We had a wonderful venue, fantastic conditions and set up for the religious ceremony, cocktail, dinner and reception. We are very grateful to Mr Roomesh Boojhawon as he was absolutely essential for the good organization of the event. Very caring, attentive to all details, he was of a precious help for last minute unexpected issues. Also, we would like to thank Chef Mahen for the succulent food, Mr Gobin and all his team for their excellent service. The spa was an amazing experience. In addition to very good hotel facilities, the customer service was perfect. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Reviewed By SS1969Beautiful hotel .. so relaxing and peaceful… My only problem was the wifi .. which took 4 days to sort out .. the staff did their upmost to sort it out for me .. thank you to everyone there especially the night time reception staff .. who came out 3 times at nite to help me !! ?? hope your hayfever/cold gets better soon .. see you all hopefully next year ?

Reviewed By bernie1939We stayed at this property for 3nights 26th-29th February 2020. This property has recently been extended and renovated. Rooms are nice and clean with a genorous sized balcony. The grounds are nicely done and very relaxing with a nice swimming pool. The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially at reception where Karishma and her colleagues gave excellent service. Meals are excellent and very reasonably priced. The only drawback we found was that the tv only had limited channels mostly French, which wasn,t much use to us English speakers. All in all a very enjoyable short term stay.

Reviewed By Ko2678Had a great stay at the Oasis Beach Resort for 11days,leaving last Friday(24 Feb 2012).,using it has both a base for exploring the island,and just relaxing by the beach.Swimming area a couple of minutes walk from the beach. Staff are welcoming,friendly and always helpful. Scooter,car hire or a taxi'tour' can easily be organized by Andrea(Manager) The rooms are aircon,with a bar fridge and TV,and all have great seaviews. Highly recommended as a great value Mauritius Beachfront Resort!!

Reviewed By nundloll nWhat was meant to be a valentine cum birthday celebration getaway on 14th feb finally took shape into a romantic escapade at Recif Attitude during the first weekend of March. My husband and I enjoyed some well deserved time together, basking in the serenity and joie de vivre of the hotel. We were gracefully offered one of the rooms closest to the beach, a room which was small but quaint. We relished the good food from the restaurant which offered a breath-taking view of the ocean. Our mealtimes were made even more special by Varsha, who made sure all our needs were taken care of. It was a pleasure to have her around, efficiently moving around the tables and ever smiling. However, we were quite inconvenienced by the presence of mosquitoes which prevented us to soak in the beautiful views of the sea from our room as we had to constantly close the doors. Other than that, Recif Attitude is worth the stay.
