Reviewed By KaveskiI went there twice, the first one in 2014 and the last in 2017. The place is amazing and Edison is an incredible host, I cannot describe the efforts he does to make you feel like home. I'll be back for a third visit, for sure.

Nice Place for a getaway! Management not flexible!
Reviewed By rfael64In general, it's a nice place to stay in Goncalves-MG. There are good and bad things here. I don't want to talk about the location, it's been bitten to death. The facilities are located 30 min from downtown, and access is very bad. Most likely we won't stay again. GOOD: The common area is beautiful, either indoor or outdoor. All environments are very well maintained, and you may stay hours just watching the landscaping. The breakfast is adorable. Large selection of local specialties, the coffee is brew on the spot, it's little annoying if you are a coffee lover and need to keep asking for more. BAD: The management is not flexible. We were traveling four couples for one special date celebration and one of the couples couldn't make a reservation and booked in hotel 3MI away. We want to celebrate dinner together, and we were not allowed to offer to have dinner in our place. We have to move all 6 people from Lua de Pedra to next door, where one cople was, we were very welcome for an excellent dinner. Very embarrassing to me who has suggested this place. The room is not big, and I felt my shower was not really clean. There were some soap marks on the floor. The only heating system is the fireplace. Either you have to bring your warm PJ or you have to get out your bed and feed the fire every 60-90 min. Yes, that is a very cold place.

Great places to stop!
Reviewed By Christopher PWe were looking for a place to stay for a one night as we were driving through Minas Gerais. We're able to call and reserve a room ahead of time of which they had many. The staff was extremely nice and run by a daughter and mother when we arrived. We're able to get a very nice very clean room and a place to park in no time at all. they had a very nice breakfast for the cost and overall the value was extremely good for a one or two nights stay!

Bom Atendimento e Bom Custo x Benefício
Reviewed By Fernando BGostei da pousada. Fiquei uma noite pagando R$ 60,00 em dinheiro. José Afonso e sua mulher receberam-me muito bem. Achei o quarto e o banheiro bons e limpos, sendo o banheiro em frente. Não percebi mosquitos durante a noite. Ficava a cerca de 10 minutos a pé do centro e relativamente perto de supermercado. Havia um mapa do Caminho da Fé desenhado em seu muro. Achei o café da manhã muito bom (pães, creme de queijo, margarina, queijo branco, muçarela, bolo de fubá, iogurte, suco de laranja natural). Achei a internet sem fio boa.
