The Warren Lodge has modern hotel accommodations with the warmth and hospitality of a country inn. Spacious rooms include air conditioning, cable TV, shower/ bath, WiFi and daily housekeeping. We also offer efficiency units with kitchenettes. We are the best location to ski at Sugarbush (3 miles) or Mad River Glen (8 miles), the closest lodging to Yestermorrow, and convenient for all local hiking and outdoor activities, as well as events such as the Mad Rally, the Vermont Stage Race, and the Century Ride.
I could’ve have asked for better hospitality! If you’re heading anywhere near Warren, VT…do yourself a favor and check out the Warren Lodge. The hosts were amazing! Easy check in and check out. Rooms clean and comfy! Lots of great amenities near by in quaint village shops and close to anything you need! Scenic drives including quincentennial VT covered bridges, roaring waterfalls, hiking, and even rock climbing all within a few miles! I’ll be back for sure!

Everyone needs a place to lay their weary head. For travelers visiting Waitsfield, The Waitsfield Inn is an excellent choice for rest and rejuvenation. Well-known for its quaint environment and proximity to great restaurants and attractions, The Waitsfield Inn makes it easy to enjoy the best of Waitsfield. Guest rooms offer air conditioning, and The Waitsfield Inn makes getting online easy as free wifi is available. In addition, guests can enjoy breakfast during their visit. As an added convenience, there is free parking available to guests. Close to some of Waitsfield's most popular landmarks, such as The Round Barn Farm (1.7 mi) and The Skinner Barn (2.1 mi), The Waitsfield Inn is a great destination for tourists. While visiting Waitsfield, you may want to try some shrimp at one of the nearby restaurants, such as The Mad Taco, The Hyde Away Restaurant, or Peasant. Should time allow, Mad River Glass Gallery and Artisans' Gallery are some popular attractions that are within walking distance. The Waitsfield Inn is sure to make your visit to Waitsfield one worth remembering.
The breakfast was basic but good nonetheless (pancakes and oatmeal). The granola was very good as well. Just FYI, it's now a vegan establishment after new owners took over this year. Oddly, they served the same thing for breakfast both days we stayed (or so we were told by our waiter). We didn't confirm this (we slept in), but if true I think that's unacceptable for a B&B. The room itself was nice enough but the bed was not very comfortable. I know this is subjective but still worth mentioning. A mattress topper would go a long way. The water pressure in the shower was not good either. The Great Room was the highlight of our stay. There's a huge fireplace and lot's of comfortable couches and chairs to sit in, as well as a large HDTV and plenty of books and games. We really enjoyed sitting by the fire at night. Suggestions for the new owners - add some variety to your breakfast offerings and have cookies, hot apple cider and/or hot chocolate available to your guests in the afternoons/evenings. Those are the types of things one expects when they visit a Vermont B&B.

Located just 2 miles from Sugarbush Mt. Ellen and 2 miles from Mad River Glen. The lodge has 22 new guest rooms with private bathrooms, 50 inch TVs, refrigerators and keyless entry. The lodge has an elevator and an ADA room along with five 2 bedroom units with full kitchens.
MRL has all the amenities most people want. Beds are new and not broken down, that was a delight. Place is spotless, everything was renovated recently to a contemporary/rustic style - not my thing, but I’m sure it works for city folks. We booked a family room just for two of us so we’d have a full kitchen during covid times, we aren’t eating out. Kitchen was well stocked with most everything you need. WiFi excellent. No one but us was masking inside, certainly not the clods of millennials gathering every night in the common area til 11 pm talking loudly with no regard for anyone else. Didn’t see staff masked, lots of those yucky scent diffusers in the common area. I’m a night owl, but I don’t want to listen to people like they’re in my back pocket after 9 pm and turns out there were quiet hours but not being observed. So if you’re looking for a quiet place and like to sleep early, this isn’t your spot. There are other complaints in reviews and they aren’t unfounded. Unfortunately our room was right inside the front door and next to the microwave and coffee pot in the lobby. Also guest phone calls incoming were answered with speaker phone on so you could hear both sides of the conversation (from inside our room). Unprofessional.

Mad River Barn Inn, Restaurant & Pub has been a fixture in the Mad River Valley for many years. Located at the base of the Appalachian Gap in the heart of the Mad River Valley, we're just a mile and half from Mad River Glen, and about five miles from Sugarbush's Lincoln Peak. We offer 18 guest rooms, each with a private bath. In addition, we have an onsite restaurant, a pub with a floor to ceiling fieldstone fireplace, and a game room where guests can play a game of shuffleboard on the newly refurbished antique shuffleboard table, or a game of foosball. Board games, cribbage, and cards are also available. In 2013, the property underwent a significant renovation project, including enhancements to the Barn and to the Farmhouse. From shopping and dining, to outdoor recreation, the arts, and events, Mad River Barn serves as your retreat and gateway to a fantastic Vermont experience.
Very clean establishment. Easy check in and check out. Room very clean., quiet, and cool. Beautiful scenic Area. Bed was very comfortable. Good wifi. Staff courteous. The free breakfast was wonderful, best we have had on our travels. Fresh eggs cooked to order, bacon toast, fried potatoes and toast. The chef was very friendly. We really enjoyed the Vermont coffee.

Casual, comfy Lodging with a legendary Tavern and Restaurant. Since 1987 we've been providing visitors and locals with a "place to come home to." We love what we do and hope that comes across to everyone who walks through our doors. 10 rooms - all different, offering spacious suites to couples and families, the Hyde Away House, and retro ski dorm bunk rooms over the bar. We serve food 7 nights from 4 pm until 10 pm offering the freshest ingredients, produced by local farmers whenever possible. One of the only places in the Valley with lodging, restaurant and tavern under one roof. We love it and hope you will too!
Our room was clean with comfortable seating and bed. However, there was an annoying bass music sound that repeated it self almost sounding like bass guitar practice. It played from 2:30 pmuntil 3:30 pm while we were relaxing before leaving for a wedding at 3:45 and then noticed it again at 6:45 AM the next morning. I thought maybe it was a radio playing in the kitchen while they were prepping but we were on the opposite end of the inn from the kitchen and bar. Also. My son Son-in-law and grandchildren stayed in the room closest to the road and my SIL said he couldn’t sleep because he could feel the cars going by and was afraid one might crash into his room. The bunk beds are made for small children and the top bunk doesn’t have a bed rail. My 13 year old grand son was afraid to sleep on the top bunk so he moved up and slept in the trundle in our room. One other thing. There was a sign in the room asking us not to shower between 4 and 6:00 or we may get low pressure and no hot water, and another sign that said not to use the bathtub or jets because it causes a leak in the room below. The area has lots to do recreationally. we found a great place to jump off rocks in the river right down the street. There are many other inns in this locations that other people raved about from the wedding, but they were twice the price. This is one….you get what you pay for. Sorry to not be able to write a favorable review :(

Any time you spend at the Swanson Inn, you will be made to feel welcome and at-home. If you can, get there on Sunday, for pie! The inn is historic, renovated, and very comfortable. The hosts include a seventh-generation Vermonter and a former member of the US speed skating team. I had a vehicle mishap before I arrived, and before my car was repaired, Tim graciously offered to drive me to nearby Sugarbush to ski! If you get take-out from one of Waitsfield's restaurants, the hosts will make a place setting for you to enjoy your dinner at the dinner table. They make you feel at-home.

Relaxation and rejuvenation is the name of the game at Wilder Farm Inn. An authentic Vermont lodging experience in a quintessential eight-room Vermont farmhouse, and the perfect complement to your stay in the Mad River Valley. We are passionate about genuine hospitality, fresh healthy local food, and outdoor adventures. While we are on the National Registry of Historic Places, you will find all rooms provide a ‘classically comfortable, far from traditional’ Vermont lodging experience. We look forward to seeing you here.

The 1824 House Inn + Barn resonates with the charm of the past, while retaining the comforts of today. Conveniently located on historic Rt 100, The 1824 House Inn + Barn is just minutes to both Sugarbush and Mad River Glen ski resorts. We are proud to offer eight comfortable rooms with private baths, featherbeds, beautiful views and a full menu for cooked to order breakfasts. Guests also enjoy our cozy fireplace, free wi-fi access throughout as well as a television in the common room. Swim in our clear Mad River swimming hole in the summer and snowshoe or sled our property in the winter! The inn also serves as an idyllic Vermont wedding and event venue. Don't miss our rustic barn or the views from our river-front pasture and hilltop meadow which serve as the property's most celebrated event sites.
This was our first visit to Vermont and we couldn't have asked for a better experience-- with the Mad River Valley dusted with snow, this beautiful home and barn offered a near picture-perfect setting. The house is tastefully done in a traditional style and the both the public areas and the rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. Dinners were in the barn, which has been converted into an amazing event space. Sean and Farrell are wonderful hosts and great cooks-- the breakfast specials changed daily and all of them were delicious. The property itself is perfectly situated right across from the Mad River-- we were able to easily walk across the street and take a mile or two hike along the river that was a postcard-perfect view of this lovely part of Vermont.

Nestled on the banks of the scenic Mad River, the historic Lareau Farm Inn is a 13-room bed and breakfast serving fabulous farmhouse breakfasts featuring local farm-to-table cuisine. Our property is also home to American Flatbread, a wood-fired pizza restaurant. Mountain bike trails, hiking and swimming are only steps away!
My boyfriend and I and our puppy turning 1 this weekend were so excited when came across this inn. They were pet friendly and close to skiing. Yesterday I attempted to call the inn 10+ times throughout the day and never got an answer. They had a message machine and I left a voicemail, but never got a reply. I wanted to ask if they could accommodate a late check in on Monday b/c we had so much we wanted to do in the area. I waited the entire day and got no reply. I then resorted to email and asked if someone could give me a call back. Instead, I got an email back saying they were available by email. By the time I asked if we could check out late on Monday, the room was taken by someone else. I was waiting to book in order to have my question answered and with the late reply, the room was gone. We were going to celebrate and also celebrate our border collie puppy's first birthday. They have no more rooms that we can bring him too. Not to mention I had to reach out to the general manager in order to get any answers in the first place. Even after that I had to call back a second time because no one got back to me. We are so incredibly disappointed and saddened that we will not be able to travel to Vermont this weekend with no pet-friendly places to stay. We are very sad. The lack of communication on the end of the inn cost us our entire trip.
