Reviewed By td0057Had a one-night stay. Room was excellent and quiet, with nice amenities and snacks available for sale. Restaurant was open late and also served a breakfast. Parking was free. Nice bathrooms with roomy shower. Lots of shops and restaurants close by. A very pleasant hotel.

Reviewed By 767grazieledDaniela, Stefan und die Kinder sind super. In der Finca gibt es mega leckeres Essen mit sehr viel Liebe zubereitet. Sie achten wirklich auf Qualität und auf regionale Produkte. Die Zimmer sind wie auf dem Bilder, die Bäder sind wirklich eine Highlight. Wir hatten die Finca für uns und sind noch in die Sauna gegangen. Es war einfach eine traumhafte Zeit in der Finca. Wir sind begeistert und kommen immer wieder gerne!

Amazing little hotel
Reviewed By 1978ChristianIA new hotel, or recently renovated with a nordic vibe with a birch-theme throughout. Spacious rooms, comfy beds, bathrooms better than 5 star hotels, this place is perfect after a long drive on the autobahn. The hotel has an excellent bar/bierstube/restaurant and the food is local and very good. Potatoes are the hotels speciality and wow, it’s the best food I’ve tasted for a long time. The owner and employees are friendly and low key, loves children and really enjoy their guests. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Great location for us
Reviewed By Kevin KThere is nothing bad that I can say about this place and picked this place for a couple of reasons. First it is just a few miles or kilometers to where my sons live so the location was right in the middle of the two. Also the price was very reasonable for the two nights that my wife and I stayed there. A continental breakfast was included with the stay which is common for a German Gasthaus (German-style inn, tavern with a restaurant). The owner was very friendly and I had a couple conversations with him during our stay. I would highly suggest Landgasthof zum Wiesengrund to anybody looking for a place to stay if you are in the area.

Something Different
Reviewed By Kevin KThis is a Catholic Monastery that I found it at the last minute on my cell phone while visiting my son in Hunfeld, Germany. The place was easy to find since it is a large Church / Monastery in the middle of the old part of the city. The price for the room was reasonable since it was just for my wife and I. I think I payed about 80.00 Euros but I don't really remember. The room was small with two single beds separated by a table and the bathroom as also small about the size of a big closet with a shower but it served it's purpose. The room numbers are all named after a Holy person and on the inside of the door is more information about that person. Down the hallway are reading rooms with a library of a few books (mostly in German) and a TV. In the morning we had a typical European Continental breakfast in the cafeteria and there was a large selection of different breads, cheese, meat, jelly, cereal and juices to choose from. Would we stay again, Yes.

Reviewed By Jo BEine schlichte und einfache Herberge, welche farblich heraussticht. Aber dies ist ja schließlich Geschmacksache. Zum Schlafen ok, zum Wohlfühlen eher nicht. Die Wirtin war freundlich und wir hatten ein Dach über dem Kopf.
