Reviewed By Phayao13Accommodation in an apartment with many beds, well-equipped kitchen, possibly a little cramped with one bathroom when all the beds are filled. A little construction work is going on, but nothing that bothers. The only miscalculation was the quality of the pillows which were of the simplest kind.

Absolutely overpriced
Reviewed By caliboliWhen you pay 2500 SEK/night, you expect staff to change your sheets and towels! Beds were very approximatively made and you need to pay extra to get new (tiny) pool towels. The pool water is quite cold, the restaurant is also overpriced without any kid menu. The hotel mentions "ski in/ski out" which is not true, you need to carry your skis 10 minutes up to the cable car, the only lift which is closed very often due to weather conditions. The first decent ski area, Tänndalen is located 30 minutes by bus, bus goes once every morning only.

Reviewed By ludde48Här kan man stanna till och vandra eller bara känna av tystnaden. Värdparet är mycket trevliga och tillmötesgående. Ta med sängkläder. Frukost kan beställas. Bra utrustat kök finns och önskar du bastu finns det också.

Perfect for a local getaway
Reviewed By ingvillk2021Me and my husband just moved from the USA to a small town in Norway a 2 hour drive from Funesdalen. Our area has no fine dining or anything luxury and we miss it badly. Since we moved to Norway this summer we have taken 2 trips to Eriksgården and our hearts are full when we leave. The highlight has been the SPA and the Champagne by the glass at the amazing and cozy restaurant. Also, you don't want to miss the pasta with local mushroom and truffle (probably a fall meal). If you can, upgrade to the junior suite. It it great for 3-6 people and has lots of space including an upstairs. Enjoy this lovely part of Sweden. And make sure you stay long enough to explore the amazing trails in the area (for hiking, biking and skiing).

Reviewed By Wolfman65I've been staying here a couple of times. It is always very good. Nice and clean with a special "home" feeling. If you have the possiblity choose a stay with sauna, real nice! The location is also very good for reaching the Swedish mountain environment. Just a hour away you have Ljungdalen from were you can reach the mountain station Helags. A 12km hiking awai.

Clean and calm stay
Reviewed By Nikolai SFast and friendly check-in. Clean 4-bed room, small table and two chairs. Small dark entrance hall. Large dark wardrobe. On the same floor sofa and TV, pentry, large showers with washing mashine, and toilets. On the first floor large new well-equipped kitchen, dining room and TV-room with sofas. Nice smallish hotel bar with fire place.

Reviewed By Göran LBra lägenhet mitt i centrum. 100 meter till skidbacken. 20 meter till mat affären. 20 meter till pizzeria. Bra parkeringsplatser. Gått om längdskidåkning. Om man vill parta finns det möjlighet till det. Finns massor av bra saker att tillägga.
