Well appointed and very clean, well decorated with comfy beds and small balcony. Slightly small twin room but entirely adequate for two sharing. Good shower. Attentive staff and after a days cycling, a very welcome pool. Excellent location, close to the local ferry and good restaurants

Avoid, avoid, avoid. Ridiculously expensive for what it is. Bathroom looked as if it was taken from a festival port-a-loo. Rooms unbelievably stuffy. Constant smell of deep fat frying. The proximity to beach was the only positive and even then you're on a busy road that doesn't quieten down till the early hours of the morning.

Terrible service and far from family friendly . Only went for breakfast (having visited many times before) and waitress was not happy to help with pushchair up steep steps and seemed to have awful attitude throughout. Won’t be visiting again.

Excellent stay, super friendly staff and great service. I love the place, the locations and the rooms with the patio in common. My 10 year old loved it and my wife too. Very nice breakfast served at your room or in the terrace. I strongly recommend it for a period in cap ferret.

Setting is lovely, we usually choose the veranda which is virtually open and with a good view of the terrace. Staff are exceptionally lovely, attentive, thoughtful and with a good sense of humour. Food is very good quality and well cooked. I have an intolerance to garlic which makes life difficult for me and for those who cook for me, but staff are vigilant and helpful, which I appreciate very much. There is fortunately enough on the menu that is garlic-free for me to always enjoy eating here.

Le Cap Ferret is a lovely part of the Bassin d'Arcachon. The beaches and dunes are awesome. The restaurants are first class. The oysters maybe the best you can find. There are plenty of hotels and guesthouses. On internet, this Lodge seems very inviting. Be aware of a few major hickups. The garden is nowhere close to what it seems to have looked like in some earlier days if you compare the official internet photos with reality. It is simply abandonned, the owner building another house in the middle of the garden, and you will find yourself doubting if this is really is the place that is shown on internet. There a new rooms in the basement. Avoid bookking them. It is simply a rip-off and taking the guests for clowns. If you don't mind that there is no door between the toilet and the only room, a narrow lugubre bedroom with absolutely no further space for any amenities except a flatscreen, and you are seated virtually just two meters from the bed, then you may find this place ok. I recommend, however, that you spend the night in the car or donate the crazy amount to some foundation instead of paying for a place where you simply can't be. What a pity!

We stayed in Les Viviers at Cap Ferret in summer 2018 for two weeks. The campsite and caravan park are of good quality. Having previously spent holiday there in 2016 we were looking forward to having a great time again. However this time we made a mistake of booking our accommodation with Homair. On arrival and check in we were shown to our caravan. The first thing that we noticed was caved in roof that was damaged by either storm or a falling tree and high weeds growing all around porch area indicating that no one used this caravan for a while. So we spend good 10 minutes pulling most of the weeds out so that we could park our car and get on to the porch. Upon opening the door we were greeted with stench of old and wet place. We opened all the windows to let some air in. The place was dirty and very mouldy (I enclosed some pictures below). There was mold on walls, ceilings and even in kitchen cabinets not to mention bathroom. I decided I don’t really want my kids to spend holiday in this environments so my wife went to see Homair rep to complain. Well, we were basically told to sack it up or go somewhere else. So after 10 hours of driving from UK we spend at least two hours to clean the place so it was in a habitable state. We decided that accommodation and Homair is not going to ruin our holiday. The next few days went fine and we enjoyed our holiday in Les Viviers until we noticed that while seating on the porch we could smell sewage. I looked below the unit and there was a big pool of raw sewage. We informed Homair rep and asked to do something about it. As previously no action was taken and no one even came out to investigate. So for the rest of Holidays porch was out of bounds and we resorted to mostly eating out. Several days passed and we were in our second week there. It was after lunch and I was doing dishes and kids were watching TV when suddenly our boiler exploded in a cloud of smoke and steam. I cannot stress how scared the kids got. I have never seen them run so fast. We all ended up on the street good distance away from the hellish caravan. Only after few minutes I was confident enough to approach and isolate gas supply to the caravan. We went back inside and noticed that there was a continuous jet of water pouring from the boiler and flooding the place. My wife called the rep and they arrived half an hour later. They isolated water and told us that someone would come to have a look next day. Now we were left with no water and no gas for two days! After the boiler got fixed the rest of the holiday was rather uneventful but by now I think you are getting the picture of Homair accommodation. I would not recommend anyone to book with this company as it is plainly dangerous. The accommodation they offer falls well below any standard and in our case it was just not safe. Do not believe any of the flashy brochures and photographs from their website. The reality is very different. It is a nightmare. Just look at other reviews. After we got back to UK, my wife wrote a complaint directly to company. We were sent a small value discount voucher for our next holiday. However we will never go anywhere near them again.
