The resort has been constructed keeping requirements of modern travellers in mind. The resort has 20 spacious cottages perfectly designed for complete relaxation of the travellers.

Reviewed By Aarthi MAn awesome property with good view of nature. Rooms were neat and clean and sufficient enough for 2people to stay. Staff was very coperative n friendly. We had stayed at Rigveda for 2 days. Hot water supply was there both for drinking and bathing.Menu is only ala carte and food provided was good . If you are leaving early in the morning than they do pack breakfast and give. We had faced no problem during our stay. The owner is very helpful and while planning your tour if you are facing any problems he s always there to help.

Situated beside a river, Hotel Riya Residency welcomes the guests with beautiful views around the place. The rooms are well-lit as they have bright coloured walls and sunlight can easily come in, providing the guests with an energizing stay. The flowy curtains and large windows add up to the over-all aura of the rooms. There is an in-house restaurant for the guests to grab some food. The place provides parking facilities to the travellers and power back up solutions are also installed in the hotel to take care of power cuts. The property is guarded by CCTV cameras to provide additional security to the guests.

Located at serene environs at the entry point of Barkot town, ( the last base town for Yamunotri pilgrims ) 2 Kms away from the market & the Bus stand / Share Jeep's pick up point, this 16-18 rooms property offers beautiful views of the Yamuna river flowing just 50 meters away & dense green jungle all around. Rooms are of various categories viz Double / Triple etc of decent size, 32 " LCD, attached bath with 24 Hrs hot water , facility & comfortable beds . Restaurant attached.offer warm hospitality to the guest's.

Reviewed By AvinashMThis place is right on the banks of mighty Yamuna around 7kms ahead of small town called Barkot. This is the best part of this camp, river is shallow and fast flowing, come prepared with quick dry clothes to take a dip in this holy river. This place offers, tents and semi-permanent structure, don’t expect too much. Well clean bed, pedestal fan, electricity connection, paid home cooked simple food (Rice, Dal, Chapatti, two Veg, Papad) and clean bathroom with western seat. Believe me, this is perhaps the only option available on this route if you want to hop on, while travelling to Yamonotri. I started travelling from Dehradun @ 4:30 and decided to hop on route as reaching till Yamonotri was not possible. While passing through Barkot town I looked at hotel, god’s sake looks like pigeon hole, keeping that in mind, this place is worth for a night. Place can be well located through google map. Staffs are local people but well mannered. For hot water, you need to take assistance of local staff of the camp.
