I always tell people to get off the main street and the Floridian is a good reason to. Nice atmosphere, outside seating and inside plenty of interesting old FL memorabilia to look at. Service was OK, I felt like our server may have been having a bad day, just seemed extremely short with us. We were there at lunch on a Tues and it was obvious that locals come here for lunch. My BLT with fried green tomato sandwich was very good, the last bites a little soggy..my fault I should have flipped it over. Husband's meat loaf sandwich....meatloaf was moist and flavorful, bread was amazing...and it was huge, enough for 2 or a very hungry person. Overall a pleasant experience, would return.

A friend told us about Back 40, glad he did. Probably the best salsa I've ever had. Everything is fresh. The service was fantastic. Great vibe. I can't wait to go back.

We visited on opening day and couldnât stay away! The owner, chef, and staff were all friendly and accommodating!The owner has been in the business for over twenty years in Florida and sold her established restaurant to move near this beautiful coastal community. They have an established Chef who has worked at many well known restaurants in St Augustine. The restaurant is completely new and has a beach theme and relaxing atmosphere. You have the choice to sit inside or dine outside.Theyâre both family and pet friendly. Whether youâre a local or visiting on vacation this restaurant is a must see! They presently have two large flat screen televisions and enjoyable background music.The restaurant will be expanding itâs hours and will soon feature live entertainment.The restaurant has a variety of items to choose from on the menu and truly has something for everyone. Our food was delicious! On our first visit, my husband had the eggs, bacon, & french toast. He loved his meal and especially his french toast. I had poached eggs, pancakes, bacon, & toast. I have been too many restaurants in the area and this is the only place that has been able to prepare my poached eggs the way that I like them. I enjoyed my food and the flavor of my pancakes. Our kids, had chocolate waffles with fresh fruit. They had never had a chocolate waffle before! Thank you for bringing new choices to the area! The food is fresh and made to order.The lobster bisque which is the ownerâs secret recipe was amazing also! I couldnât stay away and have already been back again. You canât beat this place at happy hour three dollar tacos that are unbelievable - the dynamite shrimp and the chimichurri pork are the two favorites of ours. The service is always excellent and the atmosphere fun. In Addition to the great food wine down Wednesday is half off all bottles and they have a fantastic beer prices as well.
