Food was incredible. We got the duck breast with kriek boon, rabbit with prunes, fish cassolette, sole with shrimps and for dessert, dark and intense chocolate mousse and kriek sabayon. Everything was just so tasty. I am Belgian and this is one of the best Belgian restaurant.Good advice for beers as well! The decoration is authentique and cosy. Great place to spend your evening.The only bad side every times is the service :1) slow slow slow slow. Too slow!!2) they don't do a tour of they client to ask if they want something before the kitchen close. They close the kitchen without you knowing it and you cannot get a dessert. Luckily we could have one!! And this is not my first review for this restaurant with always this down side.For the rest Higly recommended!! A great restaurant, under every aspect. The menu is small hut very curated, and the staff very flexible and ready to change the dishes to any requirement. The food was fresh and delicious, with plenty of vegetables. My husband had a three-course menu, and all dishes were perfect.The server was very friendly and accommodating, and really made us feel like welcome guests. An excellent dining experience, from every point of view.Thank you for the feedback ! Glad to see you had an amazing experience at our restaurant :-)

Having lunch in 65 degrés once a month I can very strongly recommend this unique restaurant. Food has always been very good although an understandable limited choice. The professionalism and kindness of the mentally handicapped staff is to be praised and the commitment of the manager is remarquable.Thanks for your comment, we really appreciate... I was this week in this restaurant and I was disappointed , but maybe it was our fault .In fact we ordered two main courses of fish and probably it's not the right restaurant , probably it's a meat restaurant . The tuna fish was cold and the other fish really not particularly good . In addition we wait almost one hour to have our main dishes which is really unacceptable . The wine was expensive ( +/- 30 â¬) , but really not particularly good .So maybe we were not lucky , but we were not really happy

Have eaten here on several occasions. This time, I chose from the blackboard which offered three or four different plates for each course, in addition to the standard menu.The meal began with an excellent duck rilletes while we waited for our first course, which was croqettes with smoked eel and foie gras ........... I have eaten this combination before as a terrine, but never as croquettes and it was delicious. This was followed by a wild boar stew which was copious, and served in a dark rich wines sauce with mushrooms, shallots and bacon. A perfectly prepared classic dish which was welcome given the snowy weather.Sadly, we did not have time for desserts. The meal was accompanied by a great prize winning Saint Emilion (2009) from a lesser known chateau which was most enjoyable.Great service provided by the owner and his colleague who made us feel very much at home.Strongly recommended.

You could drive by and not notice this excellent Belgian cuisine brasserie located in the outskirts of the city. Prices are fair and the quality is more then descent. The service is outstanding and exquisite, we had an excellent waiter 'Eric' who was more than helpfull, mannered and just awesome. Its hard to found a place, not too expensive, where the customer really feels taking care of. Parking is easy in the one-way street. Reservations during the weekend are i believe mandotary, if you are lucky, you can get a table as a walk-in.
