Reviews on Fusion food in Berlin, Germany. Home to some of the most significant historical sites of the 20th century, Berlin is a bustling international destination. A large city, many of Berlin's neighborhoods were in fact once independent towns. They were cobbled together to form the "Great Berlin" in 1920, and their town centers still reveal elements of this era. Today, nothing is more important to a Berliner than his or her "Kiez" (neighborhood) and the "Kiezleben" (life in the neighborhood). From the loud, wild, artsy, and young streets of Neukolln to the family-friendly avenues of Prenzlauer Berg to the quiet and sophisticated corners of Charlottenburg, Berlin's neighborhoods have something for everyone.

Looking at the positive reviews, I wanted to try that restaurant. This is not a Japanese Restaurant per se but rather a restaurant serving diverse Asian dishes. Sushi is average, the rest of the menu is average or below average. The worst and annoying thing about this restaurant is the BAD service and the arrogance of the waiters. There are plenty other places in Berlin where you can find better service and better Asian food quality.

Dae Mon, located between Monbijoupark and Hackescher Markt, has been a culinary hotspot in the middle of the city since 2016. "open minded cuisine" is the philosophy from the owner Stefan Reinhardt, that chef Raphael Schünemann implement in an avant-garde
Hoping to doing something more interesting than the touristy restaurants around Hackesher and Alexanderplatz, we were excited to have came across this well-reviewed asian-fusion restaurant. Unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. While all the tables have âreservedâ signs on them, at no point was the restaurant very busy (we were there on a Saturday around 7pm). Given the price range we expected something creative or refined. Not the case, the three courses we had were all underwhelming to downright unappealing. The main course, cabbage roll, managed to combine the worst elements of western and asian cuisines. The service was also extremely slow, huge gap between courses with virtually no attention from the wait staff. When asked how we enjoyed our food, we gave a polite but less than enthusiastic response. The server responded, âwell, we serve European influence Asian food, so it may not be your taste if you expect Asian food.â The manager did apologized when she brought the bill, but did nothing beyond. Overall, a bad dining experience.Dear Milton, we are sorry to hear that we couldnât live up to your expectations. We believed, Kimchi and minced beef are one of the best Elements of the Asian and European Kitchen. Nevertheless, we are conscious about the fact that tastes can vary. Thanks for your honest feedback. We hope you had a nice time anyway. Kind regards, Team Dae Mon

Would be great if they had something other than just potatoes. Think of it as a glorified jacket potato. With tons of options to add on top and make it tasty. Its like a big salad with baked Potato at the bottom. Also only 7 euros.

Stopped in after a tiring journey and flight into town. Great burger, well cooked and really tasty. Service was super speedy and atmosphere relaxed and trendy. Try the local Cola too. Itâs really nice and a cool change from the usual top brands. Will come again!!

Absolutely amazing and extraordinary delicious food! Fantastic wines and interesting drinks to go with the different dishes. We had a big table for the four of us, kind of separated, between the main restaurant and the kitchen. This was just perfect for us! Staff and service very knowledgeable and friendly. The ambience is classy, yet not stiff. Interiors cool, yet discrete. For sure not the cheapest place, although worth the money, we think.

If you really want to ruin a morning make a reservation here. We didn't have, so we wait for 15 minutes for a table on the terrace. The waiter, instead of helping us with a table inside the place, was hugging the clients. If we didn't asked if is possible to stay inside, we were going to wait forever outside. We ordered pancakes and Bella Italia with marinated salmon. We waited for 1 hour for this wonders and they brought two terrible dishes: they succeeded to ruin the pancakes replacing them with some strange donuts shape and bread consistency things, the salmon was poor, very fat and because of this they chalked the salad in vinegar. It was looking fabulous but the taste was at least fishy. The coffee was the best thing but they, somehow managed to ruin also: we ordered a double espresso and a cortado and they came with a normal espresso, all served on a table full with dirty dishes. I would have expected the food to be far better for the money they are asking and also it would have been normal that the waiter to warn us about the original pancakes and the waiting time.

Chose this restaurant for last night of our marathon weekend trip to Berlin. Chose as not far from hotel in Ostbahnhof and from the excellent reviews and the interesting menu. Monday night but very busy and had to wait a few minutes for a table - no problem as staff were so polite and friendly. When seated the staff were very attentive and helpful. The place has a lovely feel about it, a buzz of conversations, people talking to each other! Not as in England just looking at their mobile phones. The food was delicious, vegetables so fresh and we all enjoyed the experience enormously. And so reasonable. Thank you to all the staff, inside and outside the kitchen for a great evening. We walked back to the Hotel past the East Side Gallery - a great way to see it by night and few people, a great end to our evening.

we do just one dish, called "häppie". it's a kinda fusion steamed bun, inspired by the sweet traditional austrian "Germknödel" and reinvented häppie-style, especially savory versions - all with fluffy yeast dough, different fillings, sauces, toppings and
Highly recommend this little restaurant. The traditional steamed bun with many different toppings and fillings including gorgonzola and mushrooms to name a couple gave unbelievable flavours. This is a must visit for anyone in Berlin whether it be a local or a tourist. Extremely friendly and welcoming people with a genius idea that's created an amazing experience.
