We were very lucky to find this wonderful restaurant whilst on holiday. It was a quiet Sunday in Dormans as everyone had gone on holiday so we were able to find a table without a reservation. We had a delicious meal and could not fault anything. All the little extras made this a meal to remember. Oh, and what a fantastic dessert and cheese trolley!!If you want a fantastic meal then make sure you book a table. We will definitely return next time we are staying near.

This is a very smart and welcoming restaurant in the Champagne region. We had an excellent lunch with all cooked to perfection although the sauce on our delicious beef was a little strong for my wife's taste. The staff are friendly and attentive. Sadly the weather was not warm enough for the large terrace to be in use, with its lovely views over the vineyards of the Champagne.

Located between Paris and Reims, a few minutes away from the Champagne region, the Château de Courcelles is a 4-star luxury hotel and has a gourmet restaurant. Member of Relais et Châteaux since 1992, the hotel has 18 rooms and suites, a 23-hectares park
This is not a cheap place but worth every Euro you spend. We had a magnificient room in this authentic well restored french "Louis XIV" chateau that had many fameous visitors in the previous century (Napoleon, Jean Cocteau, Dior, ...). The restaurant is just fabuluous and we like to recommend the "menu de dégustation" that offers original French cuisine in a modern style. The wine pairing was sublime. Looking forward to go back.

A late night dinner decision our first night in France. Possible the best pizza I have had in many years of travelling in Europe. Though we viewed the entire menu before selecting pizza (first night fatigue), we were amazed at the other dishes coming out of the kitchen, along with their brisk to-go business. And this was a Thursday night!

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Richardâs restaurant with special friends. Great quality and varied menu. Highly recommended. Richard made us very welcome and added a much appreciated personal touch.
When Chez Odette opened, we were thrilled to have a place to maybe go hang out in for a drink and then grab some decent food. This bar is exactly that. We love stopping in for a beer or a glass of champagne and then deciding, based on the special of the day, and/or our mood, if we feel like staying for supper. The bar has a large, flat screen TV, an electronic dart board, and of course, 421 dice game on hand for entertainment, although the locals are usually fun to chat with over a drink or two. Food is average and good. The charcuterie plate is always a hit as are the amazing french fries that will sway my husband to go out anytime I mention them! I like the atmosphere in this place. If you are in town, give it a try. There are few choices in Fere but you won't go wrong here for a decent meal and a little bit of local flavor.

Excellent food, well prepared and presented using good quality ingredients. We ate there 2 nights running and were not disappointed. The service was excellent and the ambience sophisticated, quiet and restful. The John Dory and Turbot were delicious and the Foie gras starter and chicken dishes very tasty. A great wine list accompanied the food menu and included many fine champagnes. Recommended place to dine. Dear Guest,Thank you for staying with us and taking the time to share your nice experience. We are very pleased you enjoyed our gastronomic restaurant . Our team is always happy to know our customer is satisfied. It will be a pleasure to welcome you again at the Château de Fère.Best wishesThe Château de Fère

We have lived in the village for over 2 years and never quite managed to try La Petite Marianne before my husband's 50th birthday dinner celebration. We had heard it was quaint and a little gastronomic which isn't something we'd do for just any night. I stopped by the restaurant the afternoon of my husband's birthday to request a table since the dining room is tiny. The owner came to the door, I introduced myself, and he was very kind and welcoming. When we arrived that evening for our 7:30 p.m. reservation, we were the only guests, but in France, 7:30 p.m. is still a bit early for dinner. We each ordered a menu that included an amuse bouche, appetizer, entree, and we shared a dessert. Everything was fresh, delicious, and just the right amount in terms of portion size. Our server was a young man, very attentive, helpful with recommendations, and friendly. We enjoyed the ambiance, the music, and being the only guests was a special treat for our romantic dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion. We will definitely be back to try lunch and I have asked that my husband reserve a table for my birthday, too!
