I'm always up for trying it out new places - especially when we're talking pizza. The place is located in a small strip mall in a residential area of Hull, so it's very unassuming. First off, I shared a fattoush salad for an appetizer, and it was a huge disappointment. It was mostly a huge pile of iceberg lettuce, with a few tomatoes in there. The dressing was alright, but again, it was iceberg lettuce... Then I tried their pizza, which turned out to be very tasty, and it made me forget the iceberg lettuce. It had the right amount of cheese, i.e. a lot, but not too much so that it becomes mostly a cheesy affair. The service is very friendly and bilingual, for those who require it.

Unique atmosphere, put yourselves in appetite Located in downtown Old Hull, the restaurant Le Cellier is a must in the region, always on the lookout for new culinary trends, Chef Martin Parker and his team master the art of tartar and meat. Winner of seve
I have been been on a number of occasions -- and always for lunch! It is a great spot to get a delicious bite to eat and have a glass of wine with friends or colleagues. The tartare is one of the best I've ever had!!Will definitely be going a again soon!!

I have been to this restaurant over five times. It is a high end fine cuisine wine bar. The service is amazing. The staff is knowledgeable and also very pleasant. This time I had the Tempura Fried Mushrooms which was so delicious and memorable. I also had the Bison Tartar which was decadent. I finished with a shrimp/endive salad which was refreshing. I had a nice red wine which was paired with my Bison Tartar. My meal was 85$ including the wine and tip. It is a reasonable price for fine cuisine restaurant like this one. I highly recommend a detour, although itâs a limited menu your choices will not disappoint.

Shared the surf-and-turf. The deep-fried tempura-style lobster was almost impossible to eat. The steak was tiny. and the flavour wasn't great. Service was very good- and a decent wine list. Don't think I'd ever go back.

The menu offers a variety of original choices. For appetizer, my wife chose the escargots prepared with a buttery, herbal sauce, not the usual heavy garlic base, and it was excellent. I selected the Chorizo de Lisboa: very spicy, outstanding. For main dish we both had the Ali Baba, a merguez and chicken couscous: good but unremarkable and very copious servings. The crême brulée was OK but the bread served with the meal was absolutely excellent. The service was good and efficient. The whimsical decor was quite interesting. On this evening, the restaurant hosted a large party that was quite noisy, which put a damper on our enjoyment of the dinner.

Our restaurant's name reflects the quality of the meat that is served. Sterling Silver's remarkable breeding philosophy produces the highest quality of meat in Canada. Not only does Sterling Silver ensure incredible taste and tenderness, it surpasses any
The ambience was good. The service okay, if you ignore the lack of table cutlery, and a wine pouring that excluded the very person ordering/tasting the $95 bottle!!? The food was okay. The fois gras poutine was a moulded, unappealing mess. The calamari acceptable. Two out of five diners did not like their steaks. Sauce accompaniments were thimble size, with the bernaise leaning heavily on Dijon mustard. The sides (mushrooms, green beans) were ordinary, and the wilted spinach small and unappetizing. Double baked potatoes leaned to the dry side. The $20 dessert cheese platter came with very small portions that might have cost $10 all together. With an $800 bill for 5 guests, I could have done twice as better for half the price at home. Overall, over-rated!

Le Baccara is by far one on my favorite restaurants, and I go back really often.Offering an awesome atmosphere with delightful service and food, this 5 diamond restaurant is fully up to the category it has achieved. It's a very good place to go solo, in couple, with friends, or even for business dinners. I would not recommend going with children.Great value for the money... I know a lot more costly restaurants that do not get even close to what Le Baccara offers.I personally love ordering the "Seven-course", which is a tasting menu that I can assure can delight even the most exquisite taste buds.Getting to the restaurant may be a little awkward and noisy because you have to go through the casino, but, once there, the elegant and quiet environment make it really a special place.

Been there for lunch, mid-week, and the place was almost full. We had two bowls of potage parmentier (aka potato soup) with a few slivers of smoked salmon. We asked for bread. Sure, the waitress said, it's an extra 3 dollars. First time I patronize a restaurant where soup is not served with free bread! Then we had two salads: mixed green leaves with 3 (small) pieces of goat cheese and some bacon lardons. Two glasses of wine, one very ordinary Pinot grigio ($12) and one half-decent Chardonnay ($16), which is tantamount to a 250% mark-up. Really?Total bill for a modest lunch for two, $100. The service was good, however, that is until we had paid our bill. After that, not a thank you, nor a goodbye. Never again!Thank you so much for taking the time to send us your thoughts regarding your recent lunch with us.
