Outer Circle Walk

Reviewed By keertiwari - Pune, India

It gives an opportunity to have a memorable experience...the beauty of the lavender and white flowers, the green grasslands and the backdrop of snow clad mountains. One could not ask for more. Many bollywood films have been shot here. The temple where the popular song Jai Jai Shiv Shankar was shot with Rajesh Khanna and Mumtaz as protagonists was shot here. Overall, it is an exhilarating experience. It also justifies the name Gulmarg for this place.

Baba Reshi Shrine

Reviewed By gauth333 - Bengaluru, India

The shrine is nicely maintained. However the best part of the trip was trek from our hotelin Gulmarg to this shrine through the woods. The route was through snow covered mountains and frozen streams and every step we took gave us breath taking sights of the snow. Kashmiri wilderness is something every traveller should experience. The route is also a good one if you want to do cross country skiing.
