It was my third trip to Eastern Tibet. On the previous two trips the weather was not so nice and the Namche Barwa and Guyla Peri mountains could not be seen . All this changed in October. Traveling from Nyingchi to Pomi we stopped over on Serkhym-La. This pass is at an altitude of 4.600m . From the panorama platform we had an overwhelming beautiful view of Mt. Namche Barwa. This view alone was worth this years trip to Tibet. We continued to Lulang where we visited the village and had some nice walk within the dense forest area. In the afternoon we continued to Pomi where we stayed at night.
