Rallison Cellars public tasting room. We pour flights of several different grape varietals from vineyards located in the local vineyards. A great place to visit and enjoy local wines.
Rallison has such nice wines, the tasting room is well appointed and cozy. A fun place to test great wine!

OPEN FOR CURBSIDE PICK-UP ONLY. In 2003, the Kemp family embarked on a dream to farm the land and grow the grapes that would eventually produce some of the finest wine in the Pacific Northwest. Along with crafting exceptional Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir, the Kemps created a brand and a home that members and guests have grown to love. In the summer of 2017, Ponte Family Estate became the new owner of Hawks View! As operators of a fellow family-owned winery, the Ponte family have maintained Hawks View’s focus on crafting exceptional wine and providing an authentic guest experience.
My wife and I did the wine flight and cheese board, two types of cheeses, hazelnuts, and crackers plus berries. Their tasting room + outdoor area was quite a bit larger than other wineries i had been too in the area. We noticed people had larger groups as well as a good place for families to bring young kids on a nice day as they can play in the grassy area. Several picnic tables and multiple pairs of adirondack chairs to sit in on the law and overlook mount hood. We were there closer to 5:30 pm and they could have been busier b/c they don't close until 7 pm, where others close at 4 or 5. They had a white Pinot Noir that was delicious and other wineries we toured didn't offer that on their flight.

We picked this the day after a formal wine tour (soooo expensive) and just took an Uber there. We were so pleasantly surprised and recommend. The gardens are maintained by the owner and look beautiful. If you join their club you go down to a lower patio by an infinity pool. The overlook is beautiful; the wines wonderful. I can not say enough about the recommendation for people to go there!

Our group of 6 left Beaverton OR, within a short drive through scenic country side with gorgeous sweeping view, stepped out of our cars and landed in Italy. The ground is magnificent! Beautifully lined paths, fountains, gardens, glorious hydrangeas. There is even a villa (occupied by the owner) with an inviting gate. We arrived at 11 am, with their staff still fresh and ready for the busy day since the weather was just gorgeous. We enjoyed the wine tasting in the shaded sitting area. The staff is friendly and perfect with the flights. They even did a delicious pairing for our last wine. We relaxed, walked over to visit their goats. A friendly winery dog was around to greet us. Most of us enjoyed the estate 2015 pinot noir. $20 pp tasting fee, that is waived only if you purchase 3 bottles of wine.

Founded in 1970, Ponzi Vineyards is one of Oregon's oldest wineries. Thriving under the second generation, the winery produces world class Pinot noir, Pinot gris and Chardonnay. Visit the modern tasting room, with breathtaking views of the vineyard and valley. Sip a flight of new release wines fireside or on the covered terrace. Enjoy bocce ball courts and seasonal small plates. Winery tours are available by appointment.
This was a recommended stop and it did not disappoint. Absolutely beautiful views, can sit outside and they bring the tastings to you. Dan took such great care of us. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. Helped us with other places to go. We really enjoyed this place.

My wife and I visited in October 2020 by reservation. We had a great tasting and especially enjoyed the anecdotes about Annedria's love of the Jura wine region in France. I believe they've planted a small amount of Trousseau which is an interesting counterpoint to all the Chard and Pinot in the Valley. I've read a few of the reviews here and the one that says the natural wine is BAD doesn't have a pallet and probably wouldn't like much that isn't from the main aisle at the local grocery store. The natural wines we had were beautiful expressions of the fruit being harvested and converted to wine at the estate. I'm no expert but my wife is a CSW and the real talent and she expressed the same. The barrel-aged wines were also fruit forward and not overly infused with oak character from the time in wood. There's plenty of that wine in the market from which to choose for those that possess no talent in wine tasting, these are not the dumbed down wines they're looking for. With the advent of the internet it is easy for the ignorant and untalented to purport their opinions to a mass audience. But don't believe that hype, this estate is worth visiting and there are some great stories to be enjoyed, if you're willing to listen. Last, I'm not paid nor a friend. I'm just a guy from Charlotte, NC that was compelled to share my experience because they (both the proprietors and their wine) deserve the defense and I look forward to future vintages.
