Mansfield (/ˈmænzˌfiːld/) is a market town in Nottinghamshire, England. It is the main town in the Mansfield local government district and is a part of the Mansfield Urban Area. Nestling in a pocket within the Maun Valley surrounded by hills, the town is around 12 miles (19 km) north of Nottingham. The district of Mansfield is a largely urban area situated in the north west of Nottinghamshire populated by 99,600 residents, the vast majority of whom live in Mansfield (including Mansfield Woodhouse), with Market Warsop a secondary centre, and the remainder in the rural north of the district. Adjacent to the urban area of Sutton-in-Ashfield, Mansfield is the only major sub-regional centre in Nottinghamshire covering an area of 30 square miles (78 sq km). The Centre for Cities (2009) categorises the town as a 'small city', although it does not officially hold city status.

I was sceptical when I saw the price list at first as itâs was a bit more expensive in comparison to my usual breakfast place , but the owner assured me everything was high quality with butchers sausages etc. Decided to treat me and the wife to a Kings Banquet Box for £22, owner said its designed as a sharer between 3-4. I thought âweâll seeâ as Im a big bloke with a big appetite, I had 3 full plates and my wife had a full plate too! So would easily feed 4-5 really. The quality was bang on , nothing was wasted and everything was cooked properly and not just chucked in a fryer . They even use butter on the toast and bread not cheap yellow margarine like most places do. Will definitely be returning again , definitely the best place to get breakfast locally 10/10Thank you Dave for both your custom and for taking the time to leave us such an amazing review. We try so hard to deliver a 5 star service so we are thrilled you have met your expectations

We use this when visiting and it is sometimes outstanding and sometimes poor. We have found the chips to be soggy on occasion and then other visits, beautiful. The portions are great- sometimes, and very mean others. Seriously, get some consistency it can not be hard. This could be one of the best with a few tweaks.

I have regularly visited Bodrum for over 7 years. Always great service and value. The food is Freshly cooked on a charcoal grill. They also do fantastic burgers and pizzas. Plenty of seats to dine in without the commercialisation of a large chain.

By asking for cod, when only haddock was available ready, we ensured that we had beautifully fresh fish, with lovely crisp golden batter. Absolutely faultless and cooked for us cheerfully, even though it was only minutes from closing time on a Sunday.The chips were a little soggy, if one was being really picky, but the mushy peas were hot and tasty.I've read some negative reviews here, and have to say that my experience was completely different - really first rate fish and chips.

We have been using this Cantonese take away for at least 10 years and have yet to have a bad meal. Their egg fried rice is always fresh and "fluffy"and the prawn crackers crisp. Also at Christmas they reward their regular customers with a calendar or such like which is a nice touch for a small business.Certainly the best in the area.

Having moved to Mansfield recently we were thrilled to find this fab chippy as my husband is a Coeliac. The gf fish and chips are amazing. Generous portions with beautifully cooked flaky lovely fish with the option of being lightly battered and delicious chips. Last night ordered 6 meals 2 of which were gluten free. Everything was cooked to perfection and ready on time.they even have gluten free gravy which is yummy.The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about gf. My family really enjoyed their dinner and we look forward to many more. Thank you.

We like to try different takeaways, as sometimes they go off, this one also has seating, our food was piping hot ( I always collect, they can deliver but I prefer collection ), tasty, usual portions, will use again.
