we were looking forward to our fish and chips from this highly rated chippy. although the portions were large they were greasy and the batter was a bit moist. in fact my wife left most of the batter and just ate the fish. so although they were good value they were disapointing.

Good pizza and good kebab, we had the chicken kebab special chicken kebab margareta pizza and pepperoni pizza. Quick delivery and all nice and hot not the first time we have ate from here and not the last, if you like this sort of thing you can't go wrong.
Having recently moved into the area this was our first take away from You Welcome. We ordered a large range of dishes and were very impressed, particularly with the Prawn Toast and Spicy Chilli Pepper and Salt Chicken, both of which were superb, crispy won ton and house special fried rice were excellent. Satay dish and house special Kung Po were delicious, crispy chicken balls were a little stodgy but tasted good, sweet and sour sauce was very nicely tasted. It was a large order and we appreciated the free items included with our delivery. We were impressed with the standard and will return for more.

This is located on Morpeth Road High Market Ashington and not Woodhorn, which is at the other end of town, as shown in this address. It is only a little place close to Aldi's and Domino's Pizzas. A few parking spaces out side the place but just over the road is the big car park for Aldi. It has a few tables indoors and also a drive thru but is a small place so if busy you might not get a seat. If needed there is also a public toilet. Staff seemed friendly enough and the service was fairly quick with the food hot. We opted to eat in and the place looked clean.

We have been coming to this takeaway for years, it has changed hands a few times but the meals are always plentiful and very tasty. Wouldn't bother going to any other takeaway.

Fish & Chips..the great British invention !..and this local chippy should be given historical status because it ticks every box when our surveys says... Yes, every time, at meal times you will wait because you know you are asked personally what you want, it is chosen and cooked right there and always someone has some banter while you wait ! The staff are friendly and answer any questions with a smile. Your job is to be patient and take in the aromas and marvel at tradition happening right before your eyes. Your meal... Chips are always plentiful and your fish, the batter cooked to perfection. It is easily the best 'chippy' in the east Northumberland area. Prices are reasonable, the service fantastic and the food devine. Do not deny yourself the chance to experience this chip shop. As the song goes..yee shall hev a fishy on your Kielder dishy...and you'll really love it, when your plate is done !! ( sung to tune of Northern folk song)
