This is a Thursday only event that hosts anything from local farmers selling fresh, produce, fruits, honey, baked goods as well as local restaurants selling samples from their store offerings. The setting is Old Town Bluffton with multiple old turn of the century homes from the historical society. It is a wonderful afternoon outing held from2pm to 7pm throught the summer season and only on Thursday's.
Bluffton is the coolest town, even though the long-time residents feel it's a different town than what they grew up in. But what town hasn't undergone change like that? And if you're that cool of a place, more people want to share in it. The Market is really great, with lots of vendors offering sublime treats, from the Georgia boys and their exquisite meats and eggs and etc, to the freshest produce that comes from nearby farms, to the to-die-for Paella husband and wife team and their saffron-infused bomba rice-based creations, to the Sprouts Momma's unbelievable bread and cookies and other treats, and on and on. And the guy who plays awesome finger style guitar is an added treat. Go there for a super lunch, then shop and drop some bucks on these wonderful folks who take such pride in their efforts and area.

We LOVE stopping at Kings Farm Market on our way into AND out of Edisto Island. It’s a small farmer’s market but they will have something you’ll want to enjoy on the Island during your stay AND something you’ll want to take home to share a little island flavor. They have pies, cakes, other sweet treats and savory tomato pies and casseroles-squash, broccoli, and seafood-Omigoodness so delicious! Oh and shrimp and pasta salad and I could just go on but I will wrap it up by recommending a stop both on your way IN and OUT of the Island it’s just a treat to have some old fashioned goodies there and when you get home.

If you are visiting the Myrtle Beach area take a trip to Murrells Inlet and visit Lee’s Farmers Market. You’ll step back in time walking on the rustic hard wood creaky floors while weaving between fresh homegrown tomatoes, summer peaches, and all kinds of fruits and vegetables. There are ready made meals, local honey, hoop cheese, fresh meats, and the most unusual variety of hard to find products. There is even a deli serving lunch each day. A interesting place to visit.
