Unusual location for such a restaurant do not cause any harm to the overall experience one can "suffer" there. Extraordinary choice of wines both local, all-round Italy and France. Ambience of the real gastronomic place. Fusion of tastes extracted from the best available products. Freshness is exceptional!

Chalet sulla spiaggia
A local friend tipped us about this place. It's a beach chalet on the south end of the Porto San Giorgio beach serving both lunch and dinner. We ate lunch once, the best mussels (cozze) which had a delicious clean broth with garlic. For the lunch main, their speciality of swordfish spaghetti carbonara.Their service is extremely friendly, efficient and fast without being stressful. In the evenings a reservation is needed. 20.45/21.00 is the time when locals eat.We tried the cold seafood starter platter (antipasti freddo), had a bottle of prosecco, cozze again, spaghetti with vongole, tiramisu to share, coffee and limoncello.Lunch was about 35⬠for two and dinner about 50⬠for two.A place to visit when in the area!

I hate beach front restaurants! Overpriced, frightful service, loud tourists from .... (well, you know who I mean). This place is a bit different, though admittedly we ate early enough to miss the Friday evening rush, and very early in the season. My gluten-free wife loves fish, and she told me her fritto misto di pesce was delicious. Again, with a dish like that, there is always a risk it will all be calamari rings. Not here!My turbot fillet was well filleted and very tender. Our puddings were good, too. Two bottles of beer (they have an impressive list of GF beers), a bottle of mid-priced local white wine, coffee, and a local digestif which turned out to be a variant on ouzo, all for â¬80. Remarkable value for a beach-front restaurant!

Damiani and Rossi is a wonderful fish restaurant located on the beachfront of Porto San Giorgio. The restaurant is upscale, elegant, with nice and modern furniture and tableware. The fish is excellent and best you can find in the surroundings. We ate a millefoglie, layers of smoked savage salmon and potatoes with fantastic sauce, or an amberjack tartare with peach salad, as appetizers, then gnocchi with clams, or spaghetti with mackerel, then fantastic scampi with three sauces, or any kind of fish of the day. At lunch there are also two menus, a menu at 25⬠with three courses and another one at 42⬠with six courses. Wine selection is great. Prices are high. If you order a-la-carte you would spend easily 60⬠for a full course menu excluding beverages. But the quality of the food is worth the visit. At night the restaurant with bottom to top lights provides a very romantic atmosphere. Open all year except some days in Seotember and some days across February / March.

The inside is as beautiful that it is charming. The host and the staff are smiling welcoming and nice people. The food is just fantastic. We have been regular customers there while on holidays, which make us feeling at home. The service is excellent and everything was so tasty we cleaned blank the plates with bread. The price are reasonable and the food is worth every dime by the bite. The taste of fish foods are fantastic and takes you back to the true Italian Mediterranean flavors.Excellent selection of wines, suggested by the owner. This is a restaurant to go to if you want to enjoy an awesome meal with a beautiful setting and great hosts.Bravo Valerio & Luigi
