This place has two separate restaurants. The proper restaurant where you can expect to spend 100 eur and a more easy going " bistro ". I tried the bistro. Location is nice, tables have room, attentive and friendly service. Now the food, i had the " filetto " - can't really complain nor i cans say " wowww" . Ice cream very tasty though and definitely not "industrial" . Not cheap but not very expensive either. Let's say I'll go back ... With no hurry.

Fine, fresh ingredients of high quality. Ambition in the kitchen, no question about it. Basically traditional Italian cooking leaning towards continental modern. Not inventive, but with several touches of good ideas - we had a lobster with "black pasta" flavoured from octopus ink. The angler fish was more common in both cooking and appearance.Accompanied by a nice set on the wine chart, this is one of the best restaurants in Sarnico.Interior is stylish and the courtyard lovely on a summer's eve.The charming English hostess makes it easy for non Italian speaking to find their way to good choices. Not cheap, but not overpriced. Recommended!

Great restaurant overlooking Lago Iseo.
Our apartment is very close to this restaurant and we always pass it and wonder what it is like. We tried it for the first time tonight and had a really wonderful evening. Christian made us feel very welcome and took amazing care of everyone and everything (on his own) You feel very at home which makes it feel special. Thank you Christian for a very nice evening at your restaurant, we will be back next month!

At Nasturzio I've had a variety of visual, olfactory, and gustatory experiences. The quality of the "unusual" food, and how it is prepared and presented, is something really delicious. The chefs are super, as well the staff at the tables who are nice and professional at the meantime. The price is ok, also.Plus, I like a lot the minimal look of the restaurant, where you have to be concentrated on the dishes.

I had my wedding there this June.I also ate at the restaurant few times in the past.We had the most amazing wedding we could ever have. 150 guests from Italy, Spain and UK. Everyone has eaten so well. Very well presented plates, more food was offered after every plate, we have eaten so much and so well! The staff was amazing during the day but also during the previous year, while organising for the big day. Carolina, the wedding planner of Villa Canton, helped me so much! She sorted out flowers, napkins, decoration, ceremony in the garden, presentation of the location and much more.I could not have been able to organise a wedding from abroad. I live in UK and I only have seen Carolina three times in person before the wedding. Once we tried the menu and a couple of time we've seen each other to sort out few details. We organised everything by email, and absolutely everything was perfect!Romeo too, an other member of the staff, help us a lot before and during the wedding. He sorted out few things by what's app with my husband and he was great even holding and entertaining my three months old baby during few special moments the day of the wedding. We were able to organise arial silk and stilt walkers shows. We could have music outside in the garden during the aperitifs, as long the music was not loud, and in few rooms inside. We used the whole villa being able to move guests in several different ambients, we made the most of it being able to enjoy the beautiful garden and the amazing painted rooms. Our guests told us our wedding was better than a Hollywood's one, thanks to location, food and entertainment. We will never thanks Carolina and the rest of the staff enough for making our special day really so special. We can't recommend Villa Canton enough!! For us it's like home now..we have to go back every so often to keep the magic flow!

Very nice restaurant/hotel situated in a small village sitting well above Riva di Solto. Appears to be frequented by locals and their families for Sunday lunch. Nice selection of locally inspired ingredients and wines. Service is attentive but not overbearing. Views are tremendous from anyplace inside the restaurant. If you are planning to walk up from the shoreline it is not very far but it is a very steep climb.Thank's a lot for beautiful words;I hope to see you soon!Sergio Polini

We visited this restaurant during our wonderful, scenic day-hike "Natura del Sebino" and felt slightly underdressed. The vibe is rather fancy and the service highly attentive and very professional. The food was good but not outstanding. The menu featured local, seasonal products like the Wild Boar ragout with Polenta or the Assortment of Lake fishes. The help-yourself homemade digestif at the end and Seniora Rita's farewell rounded off this very pleasant experience.I recommend to come during day-light to take full advantage of the view. When you reserve, ask for a table close to the window. Make sure to step out on the balcony in between the courses to take in the view that is truly unparalleled from what I've seen so far!

Our first impression of this new restaurant was driving us into high expectations. The place is very nice and the restaurant offers a wonderful lake view. We decided to have lunch. The restaurant offers a daily menu. Looking further through the menu card, we found some specialties which attracted us. Instead ordering the daily menu, we ordered from the main menu card.As appetizer, we ordered the Antipasto della Casa. The menu card did not explain which Antipasto will be served and we expected a mixed plate. For the main course, we ordered Branzino al sale. The wine card offers a good selection at fair pricing and we ordered a great Colli orientali Sauvignon. The waiter was not as friendly as we normally expect in so called higher class restaurants. But, this was our first visit and we had some hope that the team will be a little more friendly after a while. When the Antipasto was served, we found by surprise that only a selection from fish was served. The plate was nicely prepared and the quality was acceptable, not great. This was a little disappointment for my wife. She expected some other starters from the region, not only fish which she does not like. I had to finish the whole plate by myself. The preparation of Branzino al sale takes some time, we know. The fish is covered with a lot of sea salt and then baked to perfection. When the waiter arrived with the Branzino, we found the fish wrapped in alumina foil with a few spoons of salt on top. Not really what the correctly preparation asks for. But that was not the real problem. When the waiter started to put our fish on our plates he was going to destroy the fish completely into hundreds of small pieces. I was shocked and walked to the kitchen chef explaining him that the waiter was creating a total mess as he had no clue to prepare the fish. He came to our table and tried to explain me that the Branzino is always served as a messy portion of fish pieces. When I answered him that I had more often Branzino al sale and I got always nice filets prepared on my plate he started a discussion with the waiter. Even, we tried to teach the waiter how to work with the fish, he ignored all inputs and served my wife a nearly cold fish and later a even colder fish mix for me.The ordered insalata di stagione was not at our table when the fish was already cooling down on our table. I could catch the manager and he walked into the kitchen to get us the two mixed salads. The price for the salad was far too high for the simple mix with two or three slices Tomato, some lettuce and some slices of carrots. We had to beg for some olive oil, two pieces lemon and some pepper. Finally we could start eating. No one from the team was asking if everything is right and if we enjoy our food. Very strange and unfriendly. Unfortunately, the fish did include many spines because of the bad waiter fish preparation and my wife's fish was not as fresh as expected. A small piece tasted fishy. After lunch, we ordered two caffe lungi and asked for the bill. The manager offered us two Limoncello to close the meal.Very good was the white wine and the coffee. Everything else including the service was not acceptable. The restaurant has a great problem with the service team. They need to improve a lot. We will not return to this place.
