Very nice service. Menu is dominated by fresh ingredients and well prepared dishes. They had a seasonal speciality as a starter: fresh green asparagus. I asked whether they could make a main course with asparagus. Apparently this took them by surprise and the chef came to our table to discuss. Told him to surprise me and he did. Had an excellent creative plate with grilled green asparagus, local ham, poached eggs and Hollandaise sauce. Was super tasty and very well done. Really enjoyed dinner here and so did the other guys.Hi again Vrenko, thank you for your detailed feedback. I'm glad the restaurant and food was a good experience!

When I first heard that the local candle factory was adding a diner I was confused but intrigued. I knew the owners were fond of ca. 60's america but this seemed like an odd addition. When I went to visit for the first time I was pleasantly surprised, the food was great and the milkshakes have been on my top 3 list ever since the first sip.

I love this place simply because their burgers and fries are like I want them, it's fastfood at it's best. It doesn't cost too much either. This is a typical tavern you visit when you drive through Levanger and don't want anything fancy. Because it's not fancy. The food is just very good and old fashioned. In december they have a christmas-plate that is really good as well. I'm in Levanger every other month or so, and almost everytime I go to this place. Just love the food here!

My uncle and I tried this place for a late lunch...Cafeteria-style entrance, tables and chairs like from a midlevel furniture catalog, with lots of oversized lamps and unpractical decorations on the tables.Killing off daddy-longlegs, and swatting annoying flies while eating could have been the low point of this place.., but no.., the "food" was worse yet."Fritert Ytterøykylling"/"Fried Chicken from Ytterøy Island" was the selling point on the menu, and to "support the local producers" we chose this alternative...Obviously prefried chicken.., then cooled, then frozen, then thawed, then fried.. too long.., way too long.. teethbreakingly long, ulcer creatingly long... vitamindeficiency creatingly long...The freakish looking result of this abusive treatment of this poor chicken's remains was served on a plate with what was presented as "aioli" but could'nt possibly have been made out of any type of garlic and olive-oil we have ever tasted... It tasted like rancid frying oil, mixed with honeymustard and mayo. The only thing worthy of human consumption with this meal, was the bottled water I impulsively ordered.., before I realized the price..; 45 Nkr = $ 5,2 When we made the staff aware of this "meal's" significant shortcomings.., they said they would reduce the bill.. something that was conveniently "forgotten" by the staff at the cashregister, until we "put the record straight"...Treat yourself to a great meal.., somewhere else!

Naboân is your new meeting place i «Nerbyân» in Levanger A cafe with its own special charm. All the food and cakes are homemade by the owner. Serves wine, beer and liquors. Genuine atmosphere. Backyard garden is open on sunny days.

What a nice place to have a good cup of coffee and a fresh baked Danish. In our case a cinnamon bun which was served warm and plenty big to share. The place is very comfortable and homey. The staff friendly. And best of all, there is no charge for a refill.

I believe that they do serve very good burgers, but it wasn't as good as I had heard. We were 6 people who went there around dinner time, but easy got a table. And the waiter was very nice. We all ordered different kinds of burgers, and everyone was pretty satisfied. I, however, who ordered a veggie burger was not as pleased. The burger was good, no doubt about that, but it was cold. It seemed as it was finish before the others, and then just waited. It was not very good cold, thats for sure. I liked the restaurant, and I do recommend trying. Around 2-300 kr for a meal, not cheap, but not to expensive either. Nice waiters, and good fries.
