In a touristy place like Blokhus, most places are forced to offer fast, basic and populsr food.In many ways so does Futten, but it offers a nice atmosphere, pleasant staff, fresh food, good value and they look after allergies well.Thisnis not fine dining, but on a pleasant sunny day it is a joy to sit outside and thenrest of the year there are nice, traditional rooms inside to enjoy too. Will be back.

We had breakfast here, as the so called Bed and Breakfast at the campsite didn't do breakfast ... Everything was very fresh. The fruits in our fruit salad was delicious NYC the breat very tasty. Perfect start in a day on bicycles :-) Thank you very much! You made our day!

Nice cafe with traditional dishes like sandwiches and burgers. In the mornings and afternoons it caters mainly to mums with toddlers, and in the evening the guests are local couples and families. The decor is funny with bright colours, and the staff is friendly.

Lunch. Great food at a reasonable price. Try the Cheeseburger with bacon and homemade fries or the "Stjerneskudd" with pan fried fish, handmade prawns, fish roe and fresh salad. Quality in every detail. Good service. Keep coming back here.Tip: Restaurant Futten is also good

Spiste frokost i restauranten. Valgte et stjerneskud med pandestegt fisk, røget laks, dampet fisk og en kæmpe portion håndpillede rejer. De andre ved bordet valgte en mad med håndpillede rejer. Råvarerne var af super kvalitet, mængderne var rigelige og priserne var rimelige. Opskriften på nordjysk succes ! Stort udvalg af drikkevarer, lækre lokaler og flot service.

A real surprise. The photos do not promise too much - the dishes look really alike. And above all: they taste delicious! And also for the children was something for everyone.

We stayed a couple of nights (see separate review on the hotel) and dined in the restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner.All the time we were served "relaxed gourmet style" meals - top quality ingredients, innovative preparations, artisticly arranged and served with a smile by the young and very charming staff.You can opt for the svinkloev menu, the seafood menu, the veggie menu or dine a la carte. They will let you mix and match between the menus that changes each day so there is quite a variety of options.Only downside: quality costs, but it's worth it!

Go for it - og enjoy the place, close to Limfjorden, lots of boats in the small harbour, near to camping site and shops in Brovst, 8 km away.

We were staying at Slettelstrand and took an evening to walk down the beach to Strandhuset Tranum. What a great experience. The food was excellent - fancy but not snobbish. There was something for everyone (including my teenagers). The wine was really nice as well, and we very much enjoyed talking with the owner. All in all a wonderful experience! Thanks - we'll be back next summer, for sure!
