Reviews on Dutch food in Palm - Eagle Beach, Caribbean. Inhabited since the year 1000, Aruba is an island rich in history and culture. Eagle Beach is an idyllic Caribbean beach, with white sands and turquoise waters, and is frequented by water sports enthusiasts. Palm Beach, on the island's west side, offers perfect swimming conditions and powdery sand. Those more concerned with conditions under the waves won't want to miss the wreck of the torpedoed tanker Pedernales, a popular diving site. Aruba is only 20 miles long, thus easily explored by bike or moped.

Bedrock has finally arrived on Aruba with the introduction of Barneyâs Bar & Restaurant. Owners Eline & Ron Huijbers introduced this unique style of Barney Rubble style of dining with Flintstone sized portions and great prices. The menu is absolutely fun!
We returned to Aruba after a three year absence. The last time we were here we found A restaurant we really loved, Barney's. We then promptly forgot its name. Walking around, not quite at the high rise zone we rediscovered it. When we went in we noticed that one of the dishes we especially loved, the grouper stuffed with smoked salmon was no longer on the menu and ordered something equally delicious. I actually found my review, on Trip Advisors from three years earlier. I showed it to our very attentive waiter who called over the owner. We had a good laugh over our adventure and she then told us if we came back she would talk to the chef and see if they could make the dish. A few days later we were back and they did. This is a lovely neighborhood place, with very nice atmosphere and service. The food is wonderful. The fish very flavorful and well prepared in virtually any style you prefer. Again Barneys is our absolute favorite place here.

Linda's Dutch Pancakes: the best breakfast in Aruba! We are open from 8 AM to 2 PM. Closed on Sundays.
This off the beaten path restaurant serves the best dutch pancakes ever. While the look expensive on the menu they are the size of a small pizza. The are quite delicious. The place does get crowded but there are tables outside and in. You may want to start sharing a pancake and work you way up to a whole one for yourself. Good service and they just did a facelift so it looks new inside.

We ate here 3 times in our short week vacation in Aruba. Real Dutch food : Zuurkool, Boerenkool, Hutspot with rook worst, excellent french fries and great "bitterballen". Seating is mostly outside. Located near the urgent care. Seats are a bit hard. Lots of Dutch people frequent this place.

Our staff Is well trained and eager to please. Everybody here wants to give you friendly and attentive service without creating a stiff atmosphere. We listen to your comments and welcome any feedback you may have, either in person or through tripadvisor.c
We saw their menu in the MENU brochure and were intrigued with the selection. It wasnât the usual everywhere menu but had lamb casserole and what really caught our attention was that all dishes came in two sizes. Small or large so you can suit your appetite. We had carpaccio and smoked salmon salad, both had the lamb casserole in cast iron casserole pot with mashed potatoes. It came with broccoli, cauliflower carrots and French beans. Wonderful. We were sat in the front veranda which was nice as it had some breeze. We will definitely go there on our next visit.

Rekindle your love for dining "Al Fresco" and daily live music at a unique restaurant that deliciously embraces Caribbean excitement with a European touch.
Located in a neighborhood not far from the beaches (accessible by car or taxi), this large restaurant is set in a wood-fenced covered garden. A singer-guitarist provides great background music while you enjoy your meal. The food is unbelievably good - and the portions are huge. Had we known how big, we would have skipped the (very good) caesar salad we shared as a starter. I had the almond-crusted grouper and my husband had the wiener schnitzel (each comes with your choice of side) - neither of us was able to finish the meal.

Had dinner here but we both felt that there was something lacking in our meals. Salads are nice and fresh but the mains seemed a bit ho-hum. I had the seafood lasagna that came as a huge portion but came across as bits of shrimp and fish tossed into a bland sauce and then a mega heaping of cheese added to the top and then baked really hot until the whole thing is bubbling. I love cheese but......

Have been in Aruba off and on for 17 years, and always driven past this restaurant, and finally tried it out, and it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in we felt like very special guests, lots of attention, and well taken care of. Food was great, service over the top, very friendly and good price. Attention to detail was wonderful. My only suggestion, is the to help a little with the curb side appeal, may be cut and trim up the grass from the outside, just needs a little attention, however beautiful and very clean inside.

Monumental Courtyard Dining
I've been to this place several times over the years. The place is nice, the food disappointed me. I have 2 kids who wanted the chicken nuggets. They were frozen chicken nuggets from McDonald's, attached is the pic, this was confirmed frozen from the waitress. How long does it take to bread chicken? When the kitchen takes shortcuts, who knows what other shortcuts they take. Why am I going to a restaurant to feed my kids McDonald's chicken nuggets? I am done with this place for good.
