Probably one of the worst dinner experiences I ever had, which is a pity since the restaurant is so nice.Earlier in the afternoon I reserved a table through the Vallarosa restaurant, inside the Laaxerhof hotel : basically, the « Clavau Pign » is their restaurant for raclette & Fondues. The waiter took note of my reservation after consulting the restaurant (we told him we wished to eat a âFondue Bourguignonneâ), and confirmed me that everything was all right. Therefore, I was quite surprised and disappointed when they told me that no one informed them, and even more since I had to wait at the entrance while they keep discussing together in German. Then, we have been served by a girl who was simply useless and disorganised. After having waited seated for 15 min, we had to ask for a menu, then insist for having someone taking our order, and then she was unable of telling us if there was a salad or a side dish with the Fondue.I never received the second glass of wine I asked her.Surprisingly, we didnât wait too much for the salads, but we waited quite a long time when she finally saw our empty dishes and decided to clear them away. Then, totally unexpectedly, someone from the kitchen we already saw running in the restaurant with his apron brought us a large bowl of fries⦠I said unexpectedly because it was long before someone decide to bring us the fondue set, the oil, or even the dishes, the forks, the meat. These all came separately, in a bizarre sequence of spaced comings. Basically, when the meat arrived the fries were cold.Re food: French fries are not fresh and the ones I tried (only because I was starvingâ¦) were only half-cooked.I donât know who prepared the meat, but probably not a chef since the pieces were extremely varying, by sizes and shapes⦠Oil was boiling so much it was shooting from the pot and we had to pray three different waiters before someone finally consent to turn off the burner, since it was impossible to reduce the flame. We received only 3 sauces: aioli, Mexican and curry. Not even a mayonnaise, or a tartare⦠I asked for a mayonnaise and got 3 mini-single portions pouchesâ¦. So probably the others are not home-made too.Given this⦠I certainly didnât ask for a dessert. Terrible. First and last time.
We ve dined here in a typical stube The food is good. They work with fine products, mostly bio products. You can eat some thaifood or pizza, but also typical gryson meals as capuns It was very tastefull. The service was good, friendly waitress. It s not cheap, but where is that in Swiss?

Well, if you know Obersaxen you know there are not so many places to eat in the evening. I'd say 2 :)Rufalipark is one of them.We were there with my wife one January evening and we were alone :)2 waiters and chief cooking for us.Nice modern design. The menu is large, including Asian meals for vegetarians and up to cordon bleu. Also there are some standard german meals like schnitzel etc.Food is good.Price is swiss.Recommended.
A charming restaurant with charming staff. Martina and Thomas Gautschi run the place, she serves, he cooks. Very pleasant and friendly, flexible with wishes that digress from the menu, which is quite interesting by itself. The restaurant is obviously much visited by people who are not staying at the pension run by the same people, and rightly so. If you are visiting Val Lumnezia this place is an excellent choice for lunch or dinner. Switzerland is expensive compared to Germany, France and other European countries, and this restaurant is no exception, akthough they have a few options that won't ruin you.

We had dinner during our vacation in Brigels and found this restaurant on TripAdvisor. The choice on the menu seemed quite 'standard', as in: no unknown ingredients or textures. But don't read this as a critical point. The food was delicious! I ordered lamb, well-done, and it was incredibly tender. Last but not least, the service was super friendly, almost un-Swiss. So all in all, a great restaurant on a marvellous location.
Pizokels a local typical food is the speciality of this little restaurant. The restaurant is located close the village church. Cars are allowed only for villagers, visitors have to park at the village entrance and walk for about 5-10 minutes. Food is good, simple and well presented. I have also posted a copy of my bill. Restaurant is clean and proper. Staff is very nice. I recommend the restaurant.

A very limited menu and not very accommodating to children in our party. Food not very exciting. Our bill had to be corrected twice. We will not be retuning to this restaurant.
