Things to do in Cornwall
Super cute little home style country diner restaurant. Decorated lovingly with eye catching decor. Had a wonderful breakfast, reasonably priced. Decent breakfast specials. This place serves breakfast, lunch and early dinners. Free refills on the coffee. The breakfast I ordered was the usual type with the sausages, eggs, grilled potatoes, toast. The potatoes were not too greasy. The sausages were lean and there was a flavour of herb in it, maybe thyme. Came with a little bowl of baked beans. You also get your choice of homemade raisin bread over the white and brown. It is chock full of raisins and super sweet tasting. So if you donât care for extra sweet bread, go for the other regular types. No sourdough. Honey and caramel bottled toppings available for toast or pancakes, set on your table. All the patrons looked happy to be there. The service is slow so make sure you have lots of extra time. Lots of regulars eat there.Attached to the diner is a lovely gift shop that sells local art, homemade pies and dessert squares, local produce, fresh picked berries, and locally farmed meats and sausages . Along the side of the shop is a nursery, selling plants, trees and flower boxes. Make a morning out of it!They also have decent lunch specials, which I have not yet tried.

This place is directly across the road from the Enterprise car rental office. We dropped a car off early one morning and they recommended Get Cracking for breakfast. We loved it. We both had the Eggs Benedict and we thought it was excellent and the price was great too. They had a great lunch menu too.

My wife and I are becoming weekly regulars at Spinners. The reason is simple: convenience, interesting menu, daily specials, good food, terrific value and, of course, excellent service. My wife is a creature of habit; tuna salad on toasted rye bread, the daily home-made soup and hot tea, thank you very much. Our server is more often than not, Sandy and she is friendly, efficient and is even getting to know our preferences, but not me, Iâm not predictable. The kitchen staff really knows what theyâre doing because the food is always well prepared and delicious. Will we be back? Hell yes! See you sometime this week.

Bland and small portions. My overall breakfast was cold and bland. The toasts were soggy. We were recommended to come here but I should of stayed home. The women's bathroom is horrible looking! Dark, gloomy and dirty. The paint on the stalls is peeling and ripped off. They're are holes and writings on the walls. Very ghetto looking. The place needs a renovation!! The kitchen is dirty too and staff wear sandals in a kitchen. Not very sanitary. The place is screaming for a reno!! If the bathroom is dirty, imagine the kitchen? I saw a glimpse of it from the square hole in the wall. Just a sad place.
We were advised by locals that Mama Sue's served a really good breakfast, so we drove quite a ways to get there. The inside was very very clean and bright, and well decorated.... score a big 1st point. The waiter was fast and efficient, and the coffee was hot and tasted very good.... score another point! The breakfast was really good, and my poached eggs were done to perfection..... score a third big point. It was cold and rainy outside, but the temperature inside was nice and cozy and warm.... score a bonus point! The price was right, too!I highly recommend this place for breakfast.God Bless

The full name of this restaurant is Village Diner and it is open only for breakfast, which is served until closing, and lunch. The service was good and the food nicely cooked and presented with the portions being substantial. My wife had the Mexican and Cheese Omelet and found it very tasty. I had the special breakfast and was surprised to be given three sausages rather than the usual two. Coffee is included in the price of the breakfasts which makes for a very reasonably priced meal.
I can't believe this little place hasn't been on this site before! It's on the main drag, open for breakfast & lunch and has a steady stream of loyal clientele. I've been coming here for years - through the original owner (Pat) to her son, to Val the current owner. One of my favourite diners. Service is friendly & quick, food is plentiful and always good, from the home-made pies, to the veggie quesadillas, to the club sandwiches, whistle dogs, the best greek salads and the breakfasts...ahh, breakfast for lunch, always cheers me up - and you can even have turkey bacon to ease your guilt. The perfect neighbourhood spot.

Went to Harv's between hockey games at the Benson Centre. We had 18 people. The service was quick and the food was good. The hungry Harv's is a solid plate at a reasonable price. Eggs Benedict looked good. Worth the visit. Note it is only open in the mornings and for lunch. Closes by 1:30 or 2:00pm.

Stopped here for breakfast while traveling. Service was efficient. The menu has standard breakfast fare, including several vegetarian options. Our table ordered the breakfast poutine (salty, but good) and a veggie omelet (fine). Decent coffee, reasonable prices. Important to note that they accept only Canadian debit cards and cash.
