What a beautiful restaurant! Lovely decoration, fantastic staff who wait on you hand and foot, calm and relaxed atmosphere and, to top it off, top quality food! The quality-price ratio is unbeatable, especially if you take one of the menus, superb food at an affordable price.A great dining experience that cannot be missed! Jauregibarria is a gem of a restaurant!

Esta a un paso de la Catedral Nueva
Having been here several times before, this latest visit was a surprise and "unfortunate" enough to warrant writing about. We stopped by for a quick business lunch, due to lack of time. The food was as good as ever. However, the whole experience was ruined during dessert. We both ordered their home made brownies. Flavour was good BUT, both of us found pieces of nutshell, one of them almost breaking a tooth upon biting into what is normally a fairly soft dish.In a very polite and discreet way, we mentioned it to the waitress, bearing in mind it was home made, just to be extra careful as someone else might make more of a fuss. The facial expression, the way she behaved - going in to the kitchen and then returning with an even more "horrified" look - made us feel like criminals, almost as if we had put the shell there. No sign of any kind of apology or explanation or can we change it or anything else. We were served coffee and our bill, when they finally gave it to us, with a cold shoulder and left the place feeling quite insulted. We have not been back since.I recommend training serving staff to deal with these things. We were only trying to be helpful in a very nice manner.

A place with a special touch. Enjoy a friendly atmosphere, and have a coffee, discover the variety of our tapas, or have our exquisite menu of the day for lunch at a cheap price. In addition the main entrance of the jewel of Vitoria-Gasteiz, the Salburua
This is a tapa bar and restaurant. As the restaurant opens for dinner at 21.00 hours, for people that want a good meal earlier, this is the place to go. Very good tapas -snacks- good enough to compensate dinner. Well-maintained and good service, reasonably priced. Walking distance from hotel Palacio de Elorriaga. Recommended.Thank you for sharing your opinion about your dinner with us. We are pleased that you enjoyed it. The satisfaction of our clients is our main goal. We hope to see you again in case you come back to Vitoria.

The place has a beautifully natural style relaxing dining room. The food is high quality, a lot locally-sourced, natural produce. The flavours are great and the presentation is beautiful.Maybe some things are a little expensive but bearing in mind the quality and 'origin', maybe not too much.Salmon Tartar is good.Fillet steak has great flavour. There is a good daily menu, but only Mon-Fri.

Modern restaurant modern cook new concept new school new line of food, our style. No limts restaurant. My way.
If you like good old music (jazz, blues, r&b, rock and roll, soul) and tasty basque food, go to Eskolaberri. Me and my wife visited there today and had very good lunch by only 15 euros per each including chefâs greeting, starter, main course, desert, stillwater and bottle of good local white wine. The music was perfect for music lover. Food was delicious and different. Service was nice and also âdifferentâ. Our spanish was poor and the waiters english too, but the cook came often to place and he traslated us the names of basgue food. We had great time!Thank you very much!!

Started with house-made chorizo saisage-delicious, had clams in a parsley sauce-fabulous, then for the entree, a "chuleta"-"small" steak with roasted red peppers. The steak was easily for 3 people and was cooked to perfection. Even the fat was tasty on the steak.desserts-most of which were home-made-were all delicious.Excellent selection of white and red wines-locally produced and within the Spanish borders. Can't wait to return.

A unique surrounding Ikea, which in Basque means little hill, recreates a forest inside. After the reform carried out by Javier Mariscal and Fernando Salas, the oak and other native woods, as well as the limestone, the granite and other unpolished natural
This restaurant was opposite our hotel but was discreet enough for us to walk past it the first evening. The next evening however was well worth the anticipation. Strangely, it was almost empty but the beautiful wood interior allowed the restaurant to exude character and warmth. My lightly tempura'd vegetable starter was amazing as was the ample prepared sole with a rich creamy sauce. Great service almost too attentive because of quiet evening. One of the top restaurants in town

I came across this restaurant more by chance as I was asking the way from a complete stranger and she highly recommended the seafood here. The location is very good although quite hard to find as the top entrance by the Cathedral has been blocked off and points along the square when in fact it is actually underneath the Cathedral square. It sits off the lovely plaza de virgen blanca. Part of the restaurant houses an ancient wall and is very authentic inside. We sat in the more modern part which was very light and airy and had lovely french windows with bougainvilla. Our table looked onto the plaza below. The food was modern but light and quirky. The fish was the best I have tasted in Spain and much better than the fish I had in San Sebastian. Their albarino wine was from one of the best producers in Rias Baixes and all in all I rate this as my best meal in Spain. Don't miss it if you visit this beautiful city.
