Amecameca (formally Amecameca de Juárez) is a town and municipality located in the eastern panhandle of Mexico State between Mexico City and the Iztaccíhuatl and Popocatépetl volcanos of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. It is located on federal highway 115 which leads to Cuautla, which is called the Volcano Route (Ruta de los Volcanes). This area is popular with weekend visitors from Mexico City, Puebla and Morelos to enjoy the scenery of the mountains, eat local foods, visit the Sanctuary of the Señor del Sacromonte, the Panoaya Hacienda and other attractions. However, when Popocatépetl is active, tourism here drops dramatically. The area receives a large number of visitors during the annual Carnival/Festival del Señor del Sacromonte, which extends over the week containing Ash Wednesday and is considered to be one of the most important festivals in Mexico State.

My third visit to this place that finally manage to impress me, but with off the menu dishes!! I had one prepared by a chef from another restaurant and it was absolutely delicious!!. Well known steak and seafood restaurant in the heart of Polanco. There are English menus available but a litter Spanish necessary to communicate with staff.The chorizo looked rather anemic and didn't have much taste. Tuna steak was fine although I much prefer it to sliced more thinly rather two huge chunks on the hot plate. Vegetables a bit dehydrated.For what I paid, I didn't think the value for money was there. I would suggest trying another place.

Met a colleague for a business lunch. Lovely place in Roma Sur. We sat on the balcony with a nice breeze. Be careful with the complimentary starter as it is very oily and my colleage got it all over their shirt. Our choices were delicious. We shared the beetroot salad, chicken tacos, and pork ravioli. Highly recommended. The suburb of Roma Sur is lovely too.

The breakfast was just wonderful. It was included in the room price and consist in : pane dolce, natural juice, coffee and eggs made in different ways. Absolutely wonderful and oerfect place to begin the morning, beautiful view from the terrace and very nice staff (especially Moise who became familiar with us). I was surprised by the beautiful setting, attentive staff and delicious food. While connected to a cooking school, the presentation was phenomenal and the food far above my expectations. I expected the service to be good, but they were the most attentive staff I have ever had the pleasure to being served by.Estimada Carol, leemos con absoluto placer su comentario. I had high expectations, I must admit, after reading several reviews and articles about Eloise. When we arrived, we were seated immediately (we had a reservation) and the waiter seemed very friendly. The seating was very tight and we had to ask for napkins & cutlery a couple of times. There was a mistake with our drink order and service dropped after that. The food was good, burger, steak and great short rib (although everyone tried the mashed potatoes and we all agreed it had a sticky texture). Dessert was nice (ice cream & crema brûlée). Not sure I would return as CDMX has so many other and possibly better value for the price. But not a bad option if youâre in the area. Thank you very much for your comments. We take into account your comments regarding the service and our food. They help us to continue improving and listen to what our customers think of us.

We absolutely loved this place! The food was amazing and the portions were extremely generous. We had the stone crab claws then caprese salad and steaks for our entrees. The steaks were cooked exactly med rare as we asked. We also enjoyed our cocktails. The staff asked us if there was a reason for our visit, and we informed them that we were visiting Mexico City for our 32 wedding anniversary. We chose Harryâs for our last night in the city and we were so glad that we did. The service was fantastic (thank you Cesar and Heledioro!)! The restaurant wanted to ensure that we enjoyed our celebration and brought us a delicious dessert on the house.
