I love the Akron Civic Theatre! It is has great entertainment of many venues and always delivers quality! It is full of history and simply beautiful throughout! The theatre is modeled after a castle with many carvings all around. It was originally built in 1929 and is one of only 5 theaters in the United States with a ceiling that has twinkling stars and moving clouds overhead - truly a unique experience!

First time at BLU Jazz+. Absolutely loved the funk and energy of the techno-jazz performance followed by an excellent display of more traditional jazz with trumpeters, pianist, drummer and bass player. Entertaining and the music spoke to my soul. We will definitely return!

We saw the "Jazz Tribute to Sarah Vaughan" on March 17th. Excellent acoustics for 3 female vocalists plus the Chicago Jazz Orchestra. Renee Marie was a wonderful best singer- soulful and like an actress to watch her perform! Easy parking, gracious guides inside and comfortable seats with leg room. I recommend attending more concerts here - don't have to battle difficult traffic either!
