During the Civil War, Knoxville's Mabry-Hazen House served as headquarters for both the Confederate and Union armies. Today you can visit the house and other historic homes in this eastern Tennessee city. Among Knoxville's other attractions are museums, a zoo and World's Fair Park, site of the 1982 World's Fair. University of Tennessee sports draw lots of fans, as does the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame. To see Knoxville from the water, take a leisurely riverboat ride down the Tennessee River.

My husband and I love taking classes at The Cutting Edge Classroom. Chef John makes the class fun and everything we've made has been delicious. Depending on the recipes used in the class, some things are done by Chef John or are done before the class, but there's always plenty for participants to do. Sometimes you do break up into groups at your table to work together and get the whole meal ready at the same time, but you're given the recipes for everything and shown how to do it all so you still learn even if you aren't the one making that particular dish. We are always keeping our eyes out for a new and exciting class to try.
