What a trip! Adam, our driver, was fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble for him. The day went according to plan and we had marvellous visits to both the extensive complex of Villa Adriana and then taken up the hill to Villa d’Este and its magnificent water gardens. Thoroughly recommend this out of Rome trip although pre-trip communication from the local provider could be improved.

From pick up to drop off, our family thoroughly enjoyed our tour with our escort, Eduardo. Though we are quite familiar with the Godfather movies, we really chose the tour to be able to see a few more towns from our base in Taormina. And what lovely towns we got to see!! Forza d'Agro was quiet and beautiful. And Savoca was picture perfect. Most of all, we enjoyed our time learning about these places with Eduardo, who was warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and fun to be with. He did a very good job of customizing the trip to our interest, and kept us engaged. Highly recommend this tour to everyone visiting the area, not just Godfather fans!

This time we have chosen to discover Palermo in a walking tour. That was our first time in Palermo and our guide, knowing this detail, made a point in explaining and making us discover the main landmarks of this beautiful Sicilian city. After that he suggested a wonderful local restaurant where we had lunch and it was indeed very good food reasonably priced and the restaurant was full of local people, which is, when you don't know a city, the best token for good quality. After lunch our guide walked us back to our cruise. Thank you very much Tour Travel for this great experience

If you only have a day in Palermo or your ship docks in twon for one day, this is the best option to enjoy the best of Palermo in one day: After a quick panoramic tour of the town, visiting the Cathedral, the Normans Palace, the 4 Corners, Pretoria Square and Martorana Church, we drive up to the hill of Monreale. The Monastery of Monreale built at the end of the XII century by William II, the Norman king of Sicily, it's a mix of Sicilian and Byzantine style. The highlight of the Cathedral is its interior, full of amazing golden mosaics, all over the walls of the nave, aisles, transept and apse - more than 80 thusend SF in total. At the edn of the visit of Monreale, we drive for approx 45 min to Cefalù, a medieval town faced on the Tyrrenian sea. The Norman style dominate the town, the stunning Cathedral, the magnificent pedestrian path and the beautiful cost of Cefalù, it's a gift of mother nature to Sicily and the tourists decide to visit this marvelous place.

Tour knew our port was changed right when we did and adjusted the itenirary. Guide was very knowledgeable about the different areas. She also went out of her way to take us to the theatre in Taormina. Was one of the top days on entire trip.
