Top 9 City Tours in Cardiff, Wales

October 18, 2021 Darleen Reid

The Welsh capital may have begun its life as a Roman fort, but it's since become a bustling city. Where the fort once stood, Cardiff Castle has held court since the 11th century. It remains a central presence in the city, now full of lively art and music venues, hip boutiques, fun bars and modern hotels. Even with so many new and exciting things to see, the National History Museum is still the most visited attraction in Wales. Don't be the only visitor who plays hooky!

My teenage son is a massive Dr Who fan and we booked the walking and bus tour 4 months ago. He was so looking forward to going but is poorly and unable to go and is absolutely gutted. The company do not offer any refunds or even the chance to re-book another Date which is absolutely terrible customer service. Be careful before you book.

We took the City Sightseeing Bus Tour and throughly enjoyed it. It took us down to Cardiff Bay. Which was nice but really cold. I can imagine on a hot sunny day it would be amazing down there but it wasn’t quite like it yesterday. I’m glad we done it though as it was really interesting. The guide was really nice. Made little jokes and was really enjoyable.
