It was priced well at $17 per adult if I recall correctly and they had a ton of variety of different menu items. We were not rushed at all. The place was almost full and they kept replenishing the dishes, so you got the sense that everything was hot and fresh. The food tasted average and bland. Nothing stood out that I could mention to try. We needed the hot sauce. They have a lounge in the back for parties/events.

Sunday brunch busy time of day but no wait list to keep track of customer first come to be seated.Then table service was poor....we ask for water but didn't get until half way done with our meals.Dim sum was okay but not the best in New Jersey.

This spacious Restaurant, perfect for big family groups is located in a strip mall on Route 22, about a twenty minutesâ drive from our home. The first thing that struck us upon walking in was the fact that the fancy décor and the classy ambiance were suitable for a party. We were greeted warmly, and led to our table. We were very surprised that the place was empty on a Saturday night. We had made reservations, but did not need them.The Menu had lots of selections. We skipped the Appetizer section entirely, and chose 4 items from the Main Menu for the four of us â Spicy Cumin Lamb, Fried Fish in Black Pepper Sauce, Eggplant in Garlic Sauce, and Dry Wok Chicken.All the food was really tasty and the portions were very generous. The Meats were very tender, the Spices in every dish were adequate, and the Eggplant was cooked to a perfect consistency. Surprisingly, everything was quite inexpensive for the area that they are located in.Our overall impression was positive. The tasty meal, the pleasant staff and the elegant dining room made our visit worthwhile.This is a good place for spicy and authentic Sichuan food. We will certainly be back. The lack of reviews, for such a nice place that has been open for quite some time, is very perplexing.

We have eaten in 2 other authentic Chinese restaurants,,,,authentic meaning we order off the Chinese menu,,not the American...They serve Dim Sum until 4 PM and it was excellent.....Our next visit was for dinner,,,,and we have gone back 3 times for dinner. My biggest complaint was the difficulty with understanding our waitress...but in spite of that we penetrated the language barrier. We have had tripe,,,bean curd,,lobster,,garlic chicken...,,spare ribs not great,,,soups are phenomenal,,,we order a different soup every time we go in....and we always order 1 entree that's different,,,desserts are excellent,,,sticky rice is awesome,,,you must be adventurous to appreciate this menu,,,,I don't know if I'm ready for the frog casserole just yet,,,but the tripe and tongue were great...as was the lobster,,,not all dishes will be to the American taste...we had tripe 2 different ways ..the 2nd time it was really boring with a slight vinegar taste,,the first time it was in sauce and excellent,, so you may not always like what you eat ,,,but its designed for the Chinese palate...my next visit will be for the Chinese hot pot,,,and as always we always get the Ma Po bean curd ,,its like velvet,,so if you want a food adventure ,,check it out...

Beijing Express just opened at the small and quiet strip mall on Community Place. They distributed take-out menus in area mailboxes, and the concept is a little different from other typical take-out chinese restaurants in the area, so we decided to give the place a try.There are no lunch or dinner specials, just a single, standard menu with options to order everything either a la carte, as a meal (bowl or plate size - both of which come with 1 entree, 1 side like rice or lo-mein, and 1 egg roll), as a family meal (3 entrees and 2 sides), or as a party pack/size (multiple entrees and sides to serve 7-10, 12-18 or 11-26). The menu options have a lot of your typical take-out offerings like various fried rices, lo meins, spare ribs, sweet & sour chicken, egg rolls, dumplings, kung pao chicken, etc. We ordered 3 different entrees and some appetizers - beef fried rice, honey walnut shrimp, beijing angus steak, egg rolls and cream cheese rangoons (aka crab rangoons). Upon getting our food, everything except the honey walnut shrimp looked and smelled pretty good, but only the rangoons and fried rice were winners. The steak actually tasted good with a variety of veggies in it (zucchini, string beans, mushrooms), but was a bit salty; this ended up being ok if you eat it with a lot of plain, steamed rice to distribute the salt. The shrimp had very thick breading, not much flavor, and just didn't really look appetizing. The egg rolls looked ok, but after biting into them, we realized that they hadn't been fried long enough despite being darkened on the outside (probably needs to be fried longer at a slightly lower temperature); some of the egg roll wrapper in the inside weren't quite cooked all the way through so it was still a bit doughy. All in all, we spent over $35 for lunch and decided that although there aren't any other chinese restaurants in the immediate area (within 5-10 minutes), it's still not somewhere we'll go back to. So unfortunate, but the reality...

I've been hoping to find Pho nearby and at last Ye's opened. This is an Asian fusion kind of place, with a nice emphasis on Vietnamese food. I had the Pho Tai, which is pho with very thin slices of steak. There was a lot of meat in the bowl and the broth was excellent. We also had the General Tso's chicken, which met with a good review.

Words can not describe how terrible this place was tonight. My first visit last month was pretty good. But tonight - OMG! The broccoli garlic was absolutely inedible. Straight into the garbage. The chicken black bean was flavorless. And the coup de resistance was the chicken chow Mein. This was to write home for. But not in a good way. It was so bad that it goes down in my all time top 10 worst dish on earth list. Ich

It was a weekly treat coming here shortly after this place first opened. The food was good and the prices reasonable until I became infected by Campylobactor after eating what turned out to be contamination of raw chicken being exposed to my order of Moo Goo Gai Pan. I was violently ill for 3 weeks,had to get testing done and fill out a Health Report for the local health inspector! I DO NOT Recommend This place! There are much better places.
