I had the egg foo young and it was excellent and enough for dinner and lunch for under 10.00. I ordered a combo meal to go for my SO who enjoyed the chicken balls, beef and greens, and fried rice. Quick and friendly service.

Tucked into a corner of a Strip Mall you wouldn't expect such a great Chinese/Vietnamese Cusine! The food and service are excellent! Very reasonable and good portions. They have non stop takeout and the food is fresh. Chicken Balls actually have chicken in them.

Ling Lee's has always been one of my favourite Chinese restaurants in Thunder Bay; located in the Port Arthur Curling Club, they offer sit down lunches, dinner, and also take-out (they also delivery if you wish); they often have buffets at lunchtime. Food is excellent; a very large portion for sure. The bon-bon's, egg rolls, chicken balls, and fried rice are so, so tasty. Service is very good and fast. This is a licensed restaurant should you wish to have an alcohol drink with your meal. I would highly recommend Ling Lee's for a great Chinese meal.

A friend suggested that we go to this restaurant. The food is much better than the atmosphere. I was actually pleasantly surprised by how fresh and tasty the food was! They seem to do a good takeout business. I love to support a family-owned business. If I was walking by I wouldn't go in based upon the appearance, but I'm sure glad that I did!

I ordered from Mr Chinese for the first time recently and was quite impressed. I ordered a dinner plate which came with chicken balls, fried rice and sweet and sour shrimp, and I added on an order of spring rolls. The dinner combo came with a good sized portion, about 4 chicken balls, 4 shrimp and a heaping pile of rice. Everything was really tasty and I was happy to have leftovers for the next day. The restaurant was really busy when I picked up my order, but the staff were really friendly and my order was ready earlier than anticipated. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant if you have a craving for Chinese food.

Went for lunch aspartameâs of a party of five. Delighted to learn it had Chinese platters. Service was fast and friendly. Portions were generous and prices reasonable. Chicken balls had lots of meat, rice was tasty. Everybody liked their lunches and some got takeout containers for leftovers. Not a fancy place but excellent family restaurant.

We decided to try this restaurant because it was close to our hotel and was well recommended by others on Trip Advisor. My wife ordered the special soup and egg rolls. Both were excellent, especially the soup with tasty broth and generous shrimp and bbq pork. My combination plate #6 had chicken fried rice (average), beef and green (good) and bon- bon spare ribs ( poor). I had ordered the plate for the ribs, famous in Thunder Bay. Sadly I received 5 ribs of the worst cut available. Mostly tendon and bone with almost no meat at all. Really too bad considering ribs are a very inexpensive meat to purchase. Service was excellent and restaurant was clean and attractive. Recommended but skip the ribs.

Asked a local for a good Chinese restaurant close to my hotel and she recommended the Oriental Gardens. To my surprise it also has some Vietnamese dishes so the choices were extensive. Had a great meal at a reasonable price with good service. Some additional wine and beer choices would have been nice.

Decided on something different for takeout tonight and gave Asian a shot. Really impressed with our food. We ordered 2 combination dinners. I had shrimp and bonbons. My husband had beef w greens and chicken balls. The meat on the bonbons and in chicken balls was fantastic. Lots of meat. We also ordered spring rolls which were excellent. I would recommend this place. We will order from them again next time for sure.
