This storefront/fastfood takeout stop is a surprise.Hemet has lost it's one really good Chinese restaurant. Kim's Pagoda after 40 years. I didn't think that anyone locally knew how to cook that kind of food. Pink Panda and the like are okay but kind of canned. This little gem is really good. You can order from the wall or special order from the kitchen I like their Pork Fried Rice and buy extra bar-b-qued pork to load it with. everything I've tried is good and some like their regular rice needs doctoring. The place is short on atmosphere but the help is friendly and efficient. I see lots of repeat customers like myself. Try it several times 'til you find your favorites and don't tell too many people or the prices will go up.

The Golden Moon is a lovely place to have dinner. The restaurant is nicely decorated, and it has a great ambiance. It is clean, and our server was very friendly and attentive to us without being intrusive. They have a great menu. We chose the complete dinner. For $8.95 per person, we had sliced sweetened pickles, a cup of soup, fried shrimp, an egg roll, rice and a main course. Their main course selection has many choices ranging from teriyaki chicken and pork, orange chicken, and beef brocolli to some unique dishes such as duck. I had shrimp in lobster sauce, and my husband had curry chicken. Both entries were served freshly cooked, hot, and there was so much food for the price; I took some of mine home to have for another meal. We really enjoyed our evening and our meal, and we plan to go back again.

Always consistently fresh and flavorful and top quality meats and vegetables are used in their preparations. The soups are top notch, especially the hot and sour with a few fried egg roll wrapper strips added, be sure to ask for them. The Pad Thai and Beef with Garlic Sauce are very nice. The daily beer specials are $1.85 for domestic and $2.85 for imported...today was Budweiser and Kirin Ichiban. Lunch specials include soup or salad, egg roll, choice of white, brown or fried rice.Kids love it here and all diners seem to be happy with their choices... Sometimes it gets very quiet due to the delightful eating going on around you. Decor is simple and colorful with spacious tables and chairs or booths. Located in a small strip mall, there is ample parking. Sauces are very tasty and intense flavors are very welcoming and refined.

We revisited this place after about a year. We had not gone back because of smelly fish issues with management. When we arrived we were seated and drink order was placed. I got a warm bear in a pitcher of ice water, with no explanation as to why. The ceiling has the duct work etc exposed, and it was coated with dust, this is above the tables and food. We tried the Sushi which was old and very dry. The salmon was something not like salmon. My wife spit it out. This is a buffet so we tried the other samplings and it was mostly overcooked. The Oysters still had a fishy smell, which is why we left last time. The windows had bird poop on the outside and the place just looked tired. The staff was always on cell phones and not taking care of business. The staff were all eating Watermelon instead of other items, should be a clue. Had Ice cream for desert most of the selections appeared to be in need of a cold home. Not even worth the first visit let alone second chance.

We have seen this restaurant go through multiple owner changes and it is now just horrible. Last time we went the food obviously had been sitting out awhile and nothing has the same taste. We used to enjoy the food and the employees but will not be returning.
The food I ordered was watery and it was really not that good. The portion was ok, but the flavor was just not there!

I met a friend for lunch at this Panda Express. It was a nice meal. We had to wait for our food it was being prepared. It was worth the time we waited. I do not like fast food. But this place was different. I got fresh cot and cooked vegetables. It had healthy alternatives..
We lived close by and lately have been coming here three or four times a week. We always take the food out and have never eaten here but eating inside is an option if desired. I have tried a few different things here, all of which have been very good tasting and a good deal as well. I now usually order the large size won ton soup which is very good and healthy. There are a lot of vegetables in it and even some shrimp. My wife always orders the shrimp fried rice which she likes very much. Also, the employees are very nice, especially Carla. It's located at an outside mini mall so there is ample parking outside. I also appreciate the fact they accept credit cards. They also have an "A" rating by the health department which is posted. I would definitely recommend the Good China Express.

I visited here with a party of 12 people from work for a late lunch at a little before 3 in the afternoon. Service was somewhat slow. The restaurant was almost empty at the time so that was not an issue. The kitchen might have been a little overwhelmed. But I have dined here before as a couple and service was still slow. So don't be in a hurry when you come here. The prices are reasonable for a sit down Chinese restaurant. I had the combination plate which had a choice of soup or salad and two entrees. The miso soup was very good and the bowl was medium size. One of the entrees was cashew chicken which had small cashews in it and not that many. I have had better even here several years ago. The second entree was the house chicken which was average and used to be better at this location. The quality of the food has definitely declined from the past. Each dish was slightly better than average. This is not the type of place that you would drive a long distance to get to but if you lived locally it would be ok. The fast food Chinese place a few blocks away is better but a lot less expensive with larger portions. They do have a sushi bar which I have never tried. I don't see myself coming here on a regular basis and in fact this was my first visit in years.
