This place is a little hole in the wall with a Kung Pao chicken that I absolutely love and frequently crave. This is close to where I work and there are bunches of us who have been going there consistently for lunch for decades. The same people have owned it the entire time. I recently told them when they retire I will need to come to their house for my Kung Pao fix. The place is a bit worn and dated, the service is consistent since they run the place themselves, and the food is always good. I have introduced many people to the establishment over the years and they all return again and again. You will too.

I had house wonton soup and buffalo wings. My dinner partner had sesame chicken. The wings were crispy, hot, and delicious. I would definitely have them again. The wonton soup was bland in that it needed salt. It had shrimp, mushrooms, pea pods, bokchoy, and wontons. The sesame chicken dinner was 8.25 and included an egg roll and chicken fried rice. Two thumbs up for freshness and flavor.

1st time to this place. Lunch was ok. There are several places in town that are much better, but they are a good distance from Roseville Buffet selection was fair. The chx skewees were good, the fried rice too. The stuffed mushrooms were nasty. The breaded fried shrimp meh. Overall, I'm not sure I'd return, would rather drive a bit for better variety...

Travelling in the U.S. can leave you veggie deprived. Great China is a remedy for that. Fresh, fresh fresh and quickly prepared. House specials recommended.

northwest corner of Snelling and Count Rd B intersection across from Target
Checked this place out on the recommendation of friends. Really glad we did. A fantastic menu of varying types, styles, and classic foods. The dumplings in chili oil were great. My partner loved the the Tea Smoked Duck. I enjoyed the chicken with garlic sauce. The waiter was more than helpful and answered all of f our questions. The overall restaurant ambiance is the only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars. It's a strip mall restaurant with little thought put into setup/decor.

My husband had a hot pot with chicken and beef. The spice level can be varied by the customer. I had a combination plate which included an egg roll and two cream cheese wontons, fried rice, and my entree - chicken with vegetables. It was a little bland - I should have ordered a little spice to be added. Limited seating but many tables were filled on a Sunday evening. On Sunday, it is only open 4-8 pm, longer hours other days . It is located in a small shopping center on Hamline Avenue between County Roads C and C2.

I started a new job and found this place while driving into work. I had the buffet and everything I had was good. The hot and sour soup was the best I've ever had. Will be back again and try and order off the menu

More than 40 year old restaurant, great for families
Lunch menu needs to be separate from dinner. Even though they were on the lunch page, we ended up paying for dinner entrees. The decor is as bland as the food. Not enough menus. Dirty under front counters. Got pop right away. Food arrived in 20 minutes, but that is when the water arrived. Appetizer arrived 5 minutes after that. The orange chicken did not have an orange flavor and was not hot when served. The portions were very good. The pot stickers were bland but large. Wait staff did not come back for over 20 minutes to ask if the food was ok or to refill pop. To top it off, they were out of their signature apple pie! My parents liked this place in the 1950's. I'll keep it as a childhood memory.

It's been a couple years since I was here last and was looking forward to it. However I was very disappointed. I ordered chicken Pad Thai. Way too sour vinegary and not enough peanut flavor. My husband ordered chicken lo mein and was unimpressed. Our server seemed to forget that we were even there.
