Everything we have had here is good! Favor good flavored dishes, chicken & Broccoli (w/ carrots) is so delicious. Also general tso's, we get it not spicy for the kids and it's very good. Sesame chicken is good also. Meals are very reasonably priced and 2-3 kids can share a large. Large servings. Very friendly people.

This place is terrible, the female staff has permanent "puss face" on, never smile or communicate, the male staff is much friendlier. Now for the food....Everything is drenched in oil, was so bad we couldn't eat hardly anything, the chicken was so old and tuff you couldn't even chew it. The drinks we ordered were huge, nothing but juice, was suppose to have alcohol, but they forgot to do that, we sent all our drinks back. The only thing worth eating is the vanilla pudding, which most likely came in a can from GFS. None of the staff was monitoring the buffet, so some unsupervised kid was picking up food with their fingers, This was once an Italian restaurant in a very nice area of the city, it is now basically in a crime ridden area. Everything in this area has moved away and closed, so the only place left to eat is the Asian Star, and they were not busy, oh yes, lots to choose from, but none worth eating. Our first trip there, and we wont return to that distressed area or that restaurant.

Been going here for years. The last trip the food was not as good as usual. Maybe a different chef? Tried it again today in hopes of a better outcome. Got home with the takeout to find two missing eggrolls . My mother returned to the restaurant w where they refused to give her the eggrolls and insisted she go home and check again. When she got home and called the restaurant they said they didn't know what we did with them but they put them in. We have been spending thirty dollars a week for the last six years at this restaurant . They have no concern for their customer they are too concerned with losing two bucks on eggrolls. Extremely rude and demeaning!

My husband and I ate the with 2 other couples. Had a great experience! The decor is bright and clean. Service was great. Our server was very patient answering our questions about the menu. We enjoyed appetizers...try the donuts! The food was very reasonably priced, especially for the amount you get. I ate my chicken fried rice and made 3 more meals out of mine! My husband ate his leftovers in 1 meal. But we all took leftovers home with us. We all got different dishes and it all was very good food. We definitely will eat there again.

My wife and I had an enjoyable dinner here. Knowing to rave about or complain about. Good service and good prices. House wine was inexpensive and good quality for price.

My adult children and myself have been going to Golden China for years and of the 4 of us, never a complaint. Honestly, of all the new dishes we have tried over time, I would expect someone to be unhappy/dissatisfied, but not once. Their Wor Su Gai is the only my daughter and myself will eat - we just do not care for others. They use the Nappa cabbage, which really adds to the flavor/texture of the overall meal. The portions are huge! I cannot finish in one sitting. The restaurant is clean, staff always smiling and friendly. The environment inside is not that of a date restaurant, however. Also, if you are in a hurry, I have never had to wait more than maybe 5 minutes, even on multiple meals.

Was recommended by the front desk at Days Inn. I was definitely not disappointed and liked the service and the quality of food.

We called for my wife's special needs (gluten free) menu and were assured they had several items to select. After we arrived, none could be found on the menu or with the waitress's help? She asked a manager-who seemed hesitant to assist-only one other table of 3 in the place.Finally-we decided to leave as nothing could be prepared without gluten.

The food is ok if you can deal with crummy service. The staff turns over often, they never bother to learn the menu and the language barrier often means messed up orders leading to "hangry" frustration. It's best to call in your order by Number so you can skip the frustrating in house dinning experience.
