Always had great food from here. Portions are big and good value. Great manu choices and never had anything bad. Sometimes delivery can take a long time especially if ordered through just eat. Nice enough seats to wait in if collecting but can sometimes take long time so worth calling first to collect and menu is on just eat. Had the salt and chilling nd crispy honey chicken several times and always happy. Mini spring rolls and mini samosa starters are great to share. Delivery staff always polite and accurate with change.
I don't normally review take away establishments but I feel it really must be pointed out that this is the worst take away I have ever had the misfortune to try - and I've had a few! The salt & pepper chips were definitely triple fried and NOT in the good way let me assure you they also seemed to be drizzled in something brown and sweet tasting. As for the chicken satay, it consisted of four measly pieces of over cooked chicken which was presented with approximately 2 tablespoons worth of gloop which tasted really sweet and nasty! Either save your money, find an alternative Chinese or go next door to Ayeshas.

Not sure if we just went at a quiet time (September weekend Monday about 5pm) but the place was empty apart from us. No idea why, itâs amazing! We donât have a good Chinese near us and will be making this our default restaurant when weâre in the mood for this cuisine.Service was great, the waitress was happy to chat but didnât force conversation on us. If we wanted anything she was there and proactively checked everything was ok. We had a laugh together over the slightly dodgy background music (think Olly Murs on heavy rotation and 80s power ballads). Get Spotify playlists! The decor is a bit dated but traditional for a Chinese restaurant. We were dithering over the menu since the choice was great and everything we had tasted delicious. Seemed freshly cooked and no slimy rice/MSG! A nice touch was the free fortune cookies at the end. Very reasonable prices and a great experience, what more could you ask for?

Chinese buffet in hamition
It's been over two years since I last visited the Jade, nothing has been lost in this time, the quality and freshness is still there and complimented by the ever efficient staff.Fairly busy for a Wednesday afternoon, all the usual favourite dishes and others on top like the spicy meatballs, desserts are also excellent if you have enough room for them.Def worth a visit every time whilst in the area, quality and reasonable pricing is a great match

I use the Jade House fairly regularly. Initially I wondered whether or not it was helpful to give numerous reviews for the same establishment. Verdict: yes - it demonstrates the on-going quality (or lack of it) for an establishment. I've been using the Jade House for upwards of 20 years now; if anything the quality has improved. Food is really pretty good and the service is excellent. Premises advertise an opening hour of 4 pm. A few weeks ago I popped in just after 3 pm (Sign showed 'closed' but door - as is usual -was 'open'). Asked how long it would be for a particular meal. Nice Chinese gent said "Come back in 10 minutes." I did, and was suitably rewarded. one member of staff now recognises me and greets me by name. If you like Chinese you'll like Jade House!

Ideal for a special occasion just like we had. 30 people discovering cousins they didn't know they had and enjoying the night with great food and such a variety too. there was a karaoke machine and it got people letting their hair down and enjoying themselves. A great place to have a party, a special room and great food.

The food was acutall not bad and the service was good but there were 14 of us and we were all given plastic straws without asking for them. When I challenged the managere on their use of plastic straws he looked at me as if I had fallen out of the sky.I boycott restaurants without a decent environmenatl policy/practices andd won't be visitng again until hey do mor eto address their carbon footprint and plastic use.
