Find out what Chinese restaurants to try in Carson City. A city of natural beauty, charm, history and western hospitality, this state capital derived its name from Kit Carson, the legendary trapper, scout and explorer. A trip to the city is a living history lesson. One need only jump on the Kit Carson Trail downtown, which passes old mansions, courthouses, a depot and a brewery, to experience a taste of life in the Old West. Also downtown, the State Capitol, built in 1870, offers a look at the birth of Nevada as a state and Carson City as its capital. Other historic landmarks, cultural heritage centers and museums dot the landscape around town, but don't forget your clubs. The city is well-known for the Divine Nine, a group of top-rated area courses designed by pros such as Arnold Palmer, Johnny Miller and John Harbottle and set amid the magnificent Sierra Mountains. After a little golf, gambling or sightseeing, spend some down time at the Carson City Hot Springs. You will emerge feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and ready for more exciting endeavors.

Food portions have gotten tiny. They didn't ask if we were thirsty for other than water. They brought us on glass of water, our food, and our bill at the same time. An never came back. It's okay I didn't want Pepsi or anything and I love getting my check when I get my food. Horrible service. Best Asian in 1996 but we are in 2015 and I see why your failing now.

I eat here on a regular basis, the food and the service are excellent, and the price is affordable, if you go there for lunch, you can take advantage of their Lunch Specials, that are priced at $5, $6, and $7, your time waiting for your meal, is very minimal.

One of the best Chinese restaurants in Carson City. I always stop by this place before going to Reno to lose all my money(joking) The price is reasonable and the food is fresh and the staff is friendly. Must try the Kung Pao Chicken. Delicious. My family will be back soon.

Quick delivery and large portions. Just not good. The egg roll was burnt, the fried shrimp was extra batter and not cooked recently, and the fried rice was tasteless and not fried. The general chicken was edible. Had to order a minimum of $15 for delivery. Hopefully, the chicken chow mein warms up good for lunch tomorrow.

People probably bypass China Bistro because it doesn't have great street appeal. But ordering online to go will get you a GREAT Chinese dinner. The pot stickers were excellent. as usual; the shrimp with walnuts very good; and the moo shu chicken was also tasty.

Parking was good. Lighting outside is average, inside sufficient. Property is clean. Reception was good. Menu typical. Service was good. Presentation good Food fresh, seasoned just ok with exception to the Chow Mein, that was good. Fried Rice was flat while the Kung Pao was without spice. Pricing was fair. Ambiance was simple, noise level low. Would try againNote this was on Cochise not Carson

This small establishment serves very good Cantonese food. The service is excellent and the portions generous. The egg flower soup is some of the very best. Atmosphere is typical for a small Chinese restaurant, but the food is definitely at a much higher level. Little chance that you will be disappointed here.

After reading the reviews commenting on terrible service, but good food, we elected to "take out". Ming's web site says "pickup only, no delivery." There is a sign on the door, however, that says "We Deliver". No matter. The pot stickers were very good; the moo shu chicken seemed a little heavy, and the cashew chicken was overly sweet. Average food, on average.
