Located in the hart of the city of Arnhem, this great Brasserie, restaurant, wine and beer bar, formaly a church!, is famous about their special food & drinks !!
had reserved for a Wednesday evening. On arrival, did not appear to be known to the personnel (have seen this in earlier reviews). Once seated friendly and efficient service. Nice surroundings. Special dietary requirements were treated seriously. Well done. Food was excellent. Worth a visit.

I had the egg plant for dinner and it was very tasty. The cheese cake for dessert was also good. Very nice atmosphere. The service was a bit slow considering that the place wasn't very busy while I was there. Nevertheless, I'll be back.

Nice and cosy restaurant. Great food, nice wines and a lot of several beers. Staff is very friendly and speaks english, french and german.
Very friendly staffs, and nice food, good atmosphere. Due to unknown reason, the main course was served a little slow. Compared with the other Dutch restaurants which are normally not good enough for services, this restaurant is far more better. If you go to Arnhem, this restaurant is worthy to try.

We started with venison and wild boar sausage, olives, and almonds - on the house and excellent. The Guernsey butter was extraordinary for such a common part of a meal. We asked for the four-course 'surprise' menu and were treated royally. Our first was lobster with foam and a lightly fried asparagus - the lobster was sliced thin with asparagus in basil olive oil and herbs. Sole in a veloute sauce with mushrooms and herbs followed. Then venison in a wonderfully scented reduction sauce with pureed parsley root, fresh peas, carrots, and greens. We ended with marinated strawberries in a strawberry sauce with Moscato wine; buffalo yogurt gelato; and a crisp puffed cookie. A wonderful meal worthy of a Michelin star and I don't understand why this restaurant does not have one.

There are lots of restaurants in Wageningen and there are also sorts of fashion waves. Diels is now the hip place to go (or it was). Nice location, modern. Good service. But the food... cold starter (and nothing special). Main dishes: me lobster for 25Euros but with less than 100g of flesh, and tasteless. My wife, duck, tasty but also perhaps 150g of meat for 19Euros. Fries cold and not fresh. We left unhappy and lighter 85Euros.This fashion will pass soon...

We were five: two adults, one child and two babies. The service at the beginning was pretty good, the waiter explained everything but the main course came after 30 minutes. The waiting was too much since we ordered steak, fish, two chicken nuggets and the restaurant was EMPTY. Only us.The food is ok, I had better steaks and the chicken nuggets tasted like McDonalds. At the end we asked for the bill and the desert from the kids lunch but after 20 minutes realized that the ice cream will not come (we rechecked with the waiter and he said its on the way) so we left after paying the bill. The restaurant seems fancy but it's a pity that the service is awful.

The chef at this restaurant manages to prepare wonderful tasteful dishes, and serve them for a fair price. There something special to be found on the menu every single time. The service is perfect, and I always take the chef's suggested menu. I like to be surprised and here they have never let me down!

I really liked this place. Its located in the coaching house of the 19th century Villa Hartenstein, which now houses the Airborne Museum. I started with the Sea Bass (prepared as a tartar and grilled) followed by the lamb. All prepared in an imaginative way. Style is typical of up-marker restaurants in the Netherlands: French influenced, but with local ingredients. The wine list was interesting and had several tempting options starting at less than 25 Euro per bottle. The serving staff were all young and were both pleasant and excellently trained. I'll certainly go back when I'm in the area.
