We had lunch here - It was busy and clearly very popular - One needs to make a reservation to get the best table! - Seats 70 people - Good for Kids with a few menu choices specially for children - with a lot of attractions by way of goats, horses and bunnies all around the restaurant . - Outstanding views all the way to the Danube river in the distance and Maria Anzbach directly below - all from the impressive viewing tower.Lovely traditional selection of menu choices, good cold beer and a great atmosphere.

We were four of us.We had as a starter the famous green salad with pumpkin oil garnished with breaded chicken breast. I am dreaming of this salad but try to share otherwise you are satisfied only after the first course.Afterwards I had the veal gulyas with little dumplings (Nockerl) and as a desert Sommlauer Nockerl, which consist of nuts and dove.My friends ate a asparagus risotto and one of my friends had a fish.Everything was very good. They served a home made beer and a Czech Budweiser. We drank a bottle of white wine from lower Austria (Grüner Veltliner). All was very much to our liking.Best Austrian kitchen.

We booked a table but omitted to mention that my mother was wheelchair/rollator bound. It was not an issue and they swiftly changed the table so she did not have to walk far. There were a few little rooms with a couple of tables in each, plus a stuberl and a conservatory/outdoor area with a party going on. Service was swift, attentive and courteous. We started with an aperitif of white wine/elderflower cordial/soda with mint and cucumber, which was really refreshing. The seesaibling (char to us) starter disappeared very quickly - on the mains. We all opted for the asparagus specials - one with wild boar, one with pink lamb and the other with char. All three were delicious. A very nice bottle of red accompanied the mains - sadly no room for puddings although they sounded and looked lovely. A great experience and one that will be repeated!

Welcome to our Wienerwaldhof-Restaurant just outside Vienna. We offer traditional and modern designed dining rooms as well as a green garden with a view of the Vienna Woods. Our service team of the restaurant will entertain you with various buffets and me
When I first arrived at the restaurant, it was just stunning. Located right in the nature and with a breathtaking view over Vienna and the Wienerwald, this restaurant had already surpassed all my expectations. But the amazing view was only the beginning of a row of positive surprises. The first thing to mention is that the restaurant is very family friendly and even dogs are allowed there. It was quite full and the staff really busy, but even so very welcoming. I have never encountered friendlier, more relaxed personnel. The waiters are a pleasure to deal with. They led us to a table outside on the terrace where we could enjoy the incredible view and take some fresh air. The atmosphere of the restaurant is quite rustic with very simple decoration. It is very peaceful and I fell in love with the ambiance at first sight. The range of food is excellent as is the quality. The menu has something for everyone and the food is scrumptious and uniquely unforgettable. This place has a price tag, but it is well worth it. This restaurant is a class on its own, I will definitely go there again!A place to be when you are in Vienna!

This is one of my family's favorite restaurants located just at the outskirt of Vienna. They offer delicious traditional Austrian cuisine, excellent grilled dishes and so far the best T-Bone steak in this part of the country! A popular destination for people of all ages. Weekends tho' could be very full especially during lunch and dinner so either come in much earlier or later. Making a reservation ahead of time will be ideal!

Having already been here for "coffee and cake" and the Steinerhof passed the "Apfel Strudel Test" we came back for a full meal. A misunderstanding over my desert was resolved without a problem (it was my own fault).Great service and a good straightforward honest menu; hearty fare. Fair prices. I recommend it.They accept dogs and bring water.
