Strandrestaurant - is the qualification the owner gives it.
This is an excellent place to relax after a beach walk along the North Sea side. The place in a more luxureous version of a beach stall with a cosy interior decoration. Every time when we are on Schouwen, we visit this restaurant.

We spent 4 days in Zeeland and travelled around. Lot of fish around, but....The we found almost in the middle of nowhere this place. Started with very friendly service and ended up with a greates fish of our trip. We took 3 different ones and they were all great. Portions were pretty big. We paid 80 euros for 3 adults and 2 kids.It has also nice terrace for sunny times:)

It's what I would call a gastro pub.But the quality of the food and most especially the waitress who was so good and attentive to all the customers. The food was very good, well served, and the desert was so good. The wine was well priced. Overall a very nice surprise. One to remember!

I found this place by chance, but I ended up there twice in one day. Food is really good, I advice the stew, and the service was satisfactory. There was a misunderstanding about the price of an item and the owner take the fault on himself and compensated me. They also cared for my allergies and have a great presentation for the food. Definitely adviced

You will get good and fresh food. Therefore it might take a short while to get the food. Prices are average for the region. Like everywhere in the region it is full of tourists. If you are unlucky you get a table next to loud Germans. I had a pork filet that was cooked to the point.

The four of arrived after being recommended this restaurant and first impression was that he was nicely decorated. We ordered but took a while for bread and wine to arrive. From the outset we found the staff rude arrogant, actually looked like they didn't want to be there at all. You couldn't get their attention to ask for anything because they were all 'too busy'! The most arrogant one we dubbed as "Mr Chuckles' especially because he looked like it had been years since he last had one. On a note in the menu my husband and friend had the fish and chips, they both agreed it was the best they had, but I on the other hand had mussels which resulted in me writhing in agony later that night, violent throwing up and manifested a demonic possession of my intestines. Here's to the group that we're sitting behind us who sat there before us and had to suffer watching us eating when they had't even been given a scrap if bread in all that time waiting..

Mediterranean restaurant with pizza, pasta, meat and fish. Very nice to sit outside in the summer. Try to work as much as possible with fresh local fish, only fresh ingredients used for pizza and pasta.
We dropped by this restaurant around 7.30, it was quite busy but the lovely lady welcomed us, and the dog with a smile. The food was tasty, we orders pizzas and steak and all came with a visit to the salad bar too. This place is nothing fancy but it really provides value for money, tasty food and friendly service!I wish more restaurants in the Netherlands were like this one!Super lekker!!

Nice bar with relaxed atmosphere, different from the other bars and restaurants on offer in Renesse. Quiet when we were there; the lady said the bar was relatively new having previously been a Rock cafe so it would time for the clientele to change. Food was excellent and well presented. The chef is keen to please, with small taster dishes being presented at start of meal by friendly staff. Wine good too and meal for 2 and wine around £25 a head. We enjoyed so much we visited twice. I had spare ribs both times, which were delicious - partner had cod and rice dish, both well presented and full of flavour. Looking forward to re-visiting next year.

We only need a small bite on our way from Amsterdam to the Belgium Coastline. To skip the congestions around Rotterdam and Antwerp, we decided to take the more minor roads through Sealand. I was happy that you could get small bites like Bitterbollen, which was perfect. The staff members were friendly and attentive. So the ideal place to have a food break.
