We are located on the beautiful St. Lawrence river. We have a large outdoor patio where you can see the ships go by. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. We have daily specials as well as customer favourites.
Formerly known as Murphy's Restaurant it is now known as The Alibi, we had our usual Friday night outing and decided to give this place a try besides having a great view of the St. Lawrence River, the food was a let down but service was excellent if we decide to go back in the summer we will all try something different to eatHi there,Sorry for the very late reply. We went for breakfast. The food was delicious and the service was good. We enjoyed our visit very much.
A Family restaurant full of pictures of wellington boots and umbrellas, disco balls and fake flowers. Is it a bar,? Is it a restaurant? One thing I do know, it was very dark, please open up the front window, get some light in there and get rid of and the wellington boot pictures. The owner must decide if he wants it as a family restaurant or a bar. The food was edible and the service from the waitress was really good, she was a lovely helpful lady.
Subway is a staple when it comes to lunch. You can eat a relatively healthy lunch for a reasonable price however this location is not consistent. I've been there when the service was relatively quick however I've also been the only person in the place and was made to feel like I was bothering them. The restaurant is definitely not as clean as many other Subway restaurants and the staff do not appear to be interested in "raising the bar". If the town of Morrisburg had a second Subway, all of my business would go their way. Clean up your act!
O'Neills on the Green at Upper Canada Golf is open to the public, in a beautiful setting overlooking the greens of Upper Canada Golf Course. For a quick bite and beer while playing a round of golf, or a formal sit down meal in the evenings, O'Neills has y
We stopped at the nearby marina and walked here for dinner (3km, 1.7 miles. Fortunately they took pity on us and arranged a ride back with one of the golfers.)It's a pretty little place with lots of different areas: tables, booths, patio, bar tanles. Being Monday it was pretty empty, but the hostess bustled about getting our drinks, helping us order, and chatting about our trip.I ordered the fish and chips, which came with proper hand cut fries and malt vinegar. Wife had bruschetta Flatbread and took half home for lunch. The food was well prepared and delicious. The beer (red) was also great. Highly recommended for a Pub dinner.

We went in for lunch on a Thursday and were impressed with the friendliness, courtesy and especially good food at a great price. Soup, sandwich, tea and dessert. We returned for dinner on Friday for another enjoyable meal and will again when in the area. Note - the address above is confusing, it is in the Village Plaza down a side aisle and not visible from the highway.

Following a golf game that my husband and two of his golf buddies enjoyed at the Upper Canada course, the wives joined them for dinner. It is close to the end of the golfing season and I was surprised how busy the restaurant was. Indeed very few of the patrons had been on the course that day and most were simply there for a great dinner. And it was great. My husband and I selected the roast beef special. This is a tender cut with a local reputation of being cooked to perfection by a talented chef. The other two couples ordered from the menu. Our roast beef was superb. The service, on what was a busy night, was very good. This is not a "fine dining" kind of place and our waitress served us with politeness and charm.... no fussing or pretension. We asked advice, she gave it, we ordered, she served and brought the bill. It was perfect. We will be back this coming weekend with family from out of town who are eager to indulge in a great dinner at a reasonable price.

After a long drive we and staying in Morrisburg at a B&B our hosts recommended the Orchard in the MacIntosh Inn for a convenient dinner. It was late and we didn't want to drive further. The atmosphere was friendly and the service good but we were underwhelmed with the dinners we ordered. The food was uninspired but OK and was reasonably priced .

There are several food service areas at Upper Canada Village. One in the main entrance/reception building (Discovery Centre) one in the Harvest Barn and another at Willard's Hotel. The Harvest Barn and Discovery Centre are cafeteria style and serve a range of food and drinks typical of parks and venues like this. Hot and cold items - things that will appeal to both kids and adults. Nothing fancy. The day we were there the staff at the Harvest Barn said they served 700 kids so expect it to be busy. After lunch they are still open and ice cream, drinks and meals are still available. Table seating and handicap washrooms are available in the Discovery Centre and Barn.
