The peaks of Mont Blanc, the Matterhorn and their fellow snow-capped giants make Italy's Valle d'Aosta region a haven for serious skiers and hikers. The Courmayeur resort offers year-round icy adventures, thanks to its Giant Glacier. The country's oldest national park, Gran Paradiso, is also located in Valle d'Aosta, as are numerous castles. A cable car ride from La Palud carries passengers over the mountains all the way into Chamonix, France, offering a bird's eye view of the breathtaking scenery.

The Green Park Village is located in La Salle (1000 m above sea level) and covers an area of 60,000 square meters, on a quiet and sunny location. In the village you can enjoy exceptional views of the Mont Blanc in an extremely scenic natural context, surrounded by unspoilt nature full of precious jewels. The resort offers villas, wooden chalets, mobile home and a large area devoted to camping.
We have been here with our little van in October and it was very quiet (we were the only tourists), however, the staff was still very helpful and friendly and they welcomed us warmly! The room for shower/toilet is heated and there is warm water.

"Relax, dream, taste and explore" The glamour campsite in Aosta Valley! The DalaiLama Village is more than a village where to spend the holiday with your children in the heart of Aosta Valley. Sweet rays of sunshine that warm the mountains. Sparkling air that fills up your heart and your soul. Meadows drawn by flowers and woods that charm children and grown-ups. People come to DalaiLama Village to relax, walk and ride. Or to admire the well-known beauties of Aosta Valley. The campsite looks out onto Cervinia Valley, Valtournenche and it is a place where to experience the real nature. When you arrive, carefully look around you with curious eyes: the Alps will give you thousands of different emotions every season.
Again, similar to previous reviews we stayed out of season with our motorhome and had the place to ourselves. We had a panoramic pitch and it exceeded our expectations with amazing views, wonderful walks and pleasant clean facilities. I personally don't think the web site photos do the village's situation justice. We had a afternoon in the spa and were able to swim and relax in the hot tub taking in the amazing views. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful especially helping us getting our vehicle onto and off the site as we were above the snow line and our pitch had to be cleared.

My husband and I rented a cabin for one night with our two dogs in April and we had a great time. Very welcoming to people and pets. Great English spoken at the front desk but also spoke Italian with me to allow me to practise! Very comfortable simple cabin with everything you need. Cheap, quiet, warm, clean. We will go back for sure.

Our family of two adults and two kids (aged 10 and 12) stayed for two nights in the two bedroom chalet. The chalet is very spacious and modern and spotlessly clean and is equipped with everything for a perfect family holiday. The chalet actually sleeps six people, as there is a double bedroom, a bedroom with bunk bed for the kids and a sitting room with a sofa bed. The bathroom is good sized and modern. We loved the views of the mountains all around and the open space around the chalets, perfect for the kids to run around and play. There is also a kids playground on site. We had dinner in the restaurant one night and it is good if you like pizza, the rest of the choice is a bit limited.

Very well organised and really quiet campsite. Easy to pitch tent (which is always a bonus) and some decent space between the tents (not rammed up next to each other). The campsite is mixed with Chalets, caravans, camper vans and tents. Good onsite facilities and a Spar shop just up the road. Easy walk into the centre of Gressoney Saint Jean. Great place to explore the valley.

Camping Hobo, in Val Veny, it is located at 1560 above sea level in the middle of the valley in a beautiful panoramic position. You will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the wild nature of this amazing valley, in a peaceful and friendly atmosphere. The staff will be happy to raccomend you and tell you the secrets ... We will be happy to let you experience a new luxury holiday: SPACE, SILENCE and TIME, immersed in nature, to regenerate and relax. Live "the new camping experience", where the adventure blends with relaxation, where the common life blends with the intimacy of the woods. Just 5 km from Courmayeur and 30 km from Chamonix (France) is at the center of the world's cradle of mountaineering. Valley offers an endless choice of sports activities, to make your holiday unforgettable. In early July, the Val Veny welcomes Celtic, the art festival, culture and Europe's highest Celtic music. A convenient public bus service will take you to Courmayeur. WE WAIT FOR YOU.
Travelled to Italy just after the Covid-19 restrictions had been eased. This place is wonderful. Caring staff doing everything they can to make to give the customer a top-quality, yet safe experience. The glamping tents are wonderful and we stayed before the season really kicked off so the place was only 1/3 full. The toilet and shower facilities are not quite as good as the tents but they have plenty of hot water. Excellent bar on site too.

Helpful staff... but... Expensive camping with no value in return. Poor ratio price / quality Dirty showers. No space between parcels. Photos are not showing reality, it seems huge, children friendly, clean... really far from what it is.

A great place to stop while skiing in Courmayeur for a drink and a snack, and then continue on with the ski day! Loved sitting on the deck, enjoying the warm alpine sun and the stunning view. Friendly place. Will be back again this season!
